I assume he's
talking about the Amnesiac version as he says 'a la Radiohead’s Amnesiac' before saying it, it is a dirge in comparison
Music journalism
has never been about spotting references from frankly terrible books (how can a literary reference be obvious anyway? if you haven't read the book you're not going to get it), this is a good review that seems to match with the consensus if you look at the comments. If you feel that you have some great insight into Bloc Party that Mr Southall doesn't then write your own, I'm sure we will all learn a lot.
Great writing that,
I shall be getting me one of these.
when is Labour Day then?
bloody American holidays, cant wait for Unholy Aliance :DDDDDDDDDD, there will be piss-bottling of Trivium i am sure.
The first two
were utterly fantastic though. This single is far too epic but the lyrics are better than anything on The Hardest Way and i'm probably going to at least download the album off the back of it.
I deserve it, yeah?
because its just another trophy in my silver cabinet, yeah?
the myspace is sebadough

haven't these dates been confirmed for ages anyway?

there is no way I can come out of saying this
without coming accross as a bit of a dick but if you think the JoFo album is noisy, complex and aggressive you need to reevaluate your listening habits, it's good, straight down the line indie rock with some post-hardcore embelishments.
