i still have

a friendster account, t'was my first friend site thing i signed up to.

ive always believed

that mark ronson is a c**t.

the video....

is it a piss take, or for real. Either way its rediculous.

not so...

they have been camped out in sweden for what seems like an eternity writing and recording. I expect to hear a natural progression from you come before you, which i love.
Also the newport gig sits neatly in between 2 dates my own band are playing. Glorious!!

argh...

they have started writing new material, some of which they played in bristol when i saw them the other night! :o)

please

dont include misery signals in that bracket. They are a stunning band.

my word,

samurai jack = THE BEST CARTOON EVER MADE EVER.

wtf ?!

anthony green is a stunning singer. especially live.

they play cardiff..

..the day after i leave south wales to go home in devon. not happy.

its arriving on my doorstep tomorrow

.. and im rather looking forward to it. Skullflower is a stunning song.

this pisses me off so much...

she was on the radio today saying that she basically couldnt be arsed to tour, and she gets a £1million deal?!?!?!? There are bands and artists in this country with more talent in a single folical of hair than she has in her entire body, and have to work their asses off, losing money every night just to get their music heard. The music industry is such a cunt.

Blimey,

saw crydebris in bristol the other night, prob the best band ive ever seen. stunning. Great way to completly unjustify splitting up.

i think

Ella are the next big thing metal wise. www.myspace.com/ella
British and better than most american acts, and they supported mendeed recently.

wow.

didnt expect that from mr diver. I still hate them.

nein,

he was just a producer/co worker person. I dont think it was named after him, but not sure.

well i think...

the blackout are rubbish generic south wales rubbishy rubbish.

Id only go for say anything and underoath - who are immense live, and maybe angels and airwaves to see if its any good.

sorry...

.. ive calmed down now.

i dont like them very much.

x

sweet tittyfucking christ...

i hate them beyond all comprehension. All the black haired, stupid fringed, ultra tight jean wearing scene bastards are wanking over this trite bollocks. They should be obliterated without a second thought.

Lady Sovereign...

...poor bloody yanks, having to put up with her.

meh...

i still find them one of the most tedious, boring, and aptly named bands ever.

blergh

when the chorus came it, it gave me cancer. how could they destroy such a classic song??!?!?!

Re: Circa Survive - Juturna

thankyou muchly.

Circa Survive - Juturna

what a band, was gutted to miss them on tour.

Motion City Soundtracking the country

its MCS's headline tour, CS are main support.

Motion City Soundtracking the country

man i lvoe circa survive, id go to cardiff if i didnt have a party for my birthday that night. Curse me being 21.

Funeral For A Friend headline post-wha'eva tour in November

KSE are ok, but Unearth are deadly. KSE are the only decent band on that bill though.

Funeral For A Friend - Streetcar

such a bland song. ergh

Various - All The Better To Eat You With, My Dear

Jairus
Secondsmile
Jeniferever

3 of my favourite bands, all on one cd. yum.

Fightstar

your comments about the organisation are spot on, i cant believe it was that bad, plus you had to take tops off any bottles you had.
Finch were so bad it was hilarious but i do think Alexisonfire and Coheed were awesome.

Spitalfield - Stop Doing Bad Things

nicely reviewed. Thier first album is very sugary and not something id usually listen to, but for some reason its just grabbed my the balls and told me to like it. They are also a very pleasing live proposition, and blew tour buddies (and headliners) Falloutboy well out of the water when they were here not so long ago.

Big Scary News

Jairus?
Secondsmile?
Jeniferever?
Sparks Lights and Flames?

BSM seem to be amassing a pretty good roster right now (i havent heard the others yet)

New Rhodes - You've Given Me Something That I Can't Give Back

yes, these boys rock my socks, saw them last at the croft in bristol with a variety of wonderful people ranging from close friends to those fans who occupy the vibrant 'rhodes online community message board thingy!
andy.

Help She Can't Swim stick to dry land

haha no london date, but Plymouth phoenix?

Eels turn Vagrants

vagrant are starting to look like a good roster.

Musical hero John Peel dies age 65

yeah its totally if someone you know has died. He was an absolutly awesome DJ in my eyes and gave so many bands/artists their first important radion plays and recognition. A legend that will be sorely missed. :o(

Copperpot Journals Split

man what a wonderful band, i cant believe another one has bitten the dust. :o(

Alexisonfire - Alexisonfire

they are impressive musicians and i love their music, but its true about the saturation of this type of music. ah well.

Kasabian - Kasabian

they have the most boring songs i have ever heard, dull and shit.

Mercury Tilt Switch - Get Ready For The Trench Run/Dans L'aide Du Levrier Retraite

top review for a top bunch of guys. my band has played with these guys, and they were very nice chaps indeed as well as making a beltin racket. :o)

Head Automatica: First Single!

man i cant wait for this album. Who would have thought daryl's voice would work so well with those beats. plus i will admit he is a sexy man.

Biffy Clyro - Glitter and Trauma

yay, i got the cd, dvd and 7", and they are all sweet as fuck. Cant wait for Infinity Land to come out!

Aconite Announce Thrilling UK Tour

the thrill thrill me. and i will see them in plymouth

The Dillinger Escape Plan - Miss Machine

quality review.

they are going to level the concrete jungle stage to the ground come Reading.

Silent Drive - Love Is Worth It

'fraid not.

Silent Drive - Love Is Worth It

why oh why did i buy this after only hearing '4/16', iam an utter idiot. waterwings that is a spot on comment about the first song, its almost plagerism (sp)

From First To Last - Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has A Body Count

not all "emo" bands are about breakups, thats just a blatant stereotype (however, granted, many bands have not helped to destroy this). Take coheed and cambria, in many circles they are classed as an "emo" band, but all their songs lyrically are about a fictional sci-fi story the band have created, and are releasing comic books to explain the stories graphically. This is just one example in many. Im going to buy this album, because i have heard a few songs from it, and i like their style, they are a bit kookier and have added metallic elements to their sound which i also like.

however Mr Drivers review of the Silent Drive album is spot on. I soooooo wish i hadnt bought it. idiot.
