He has a point.
Radiohead do try too much to have that 'music-for-intelligent-people' vibe around them. If they really are intelligent (or just crafty), that's another question.
Well wirtten review.
And a great album as well, as usual from The Black Heart Procession. I am one of those lucky few who absolutely adore their bleakness and this album delivers it masterfully. Liar's Ink is marvellous, possibly the best track on the record.
His magnum opus.
An absolute masterpiece and I don't usually listen to this kind of music. Hopefully, we'll see a lot more from Max.
I'm surprised that so many people feel disappointed.
Because it indeed is a massive grower of an album and it easily tops Black Holes. Once again - give it some more time. You know it's Muse, they're good enough not to release a rubbishy record.
Exogenesis
did not disappoint me at all. It's stupendous and they should tamper with classical music more often. The album surely deserves more than 7. With this record Muse prove that they are the true bigwigs of modern rock music and that no matter what stylistics or concepts they play with the outcome is always of top-notch level. Give the album some time, it'll grow on you.
This album is brilliant.
I had doubts at first but after couple of listens it simply unleased its brilliant quality. It has no flow? Oh yes, it has. Throughout each and very track I can sense that unique atmosphere of conspiracies, travels, unrest and various other hints to modern world. It flows perfectly and it's definitely better and more coherent than Black Holes and Revelations. I adore Origin of Symmetry and this album is nothing near but The Resistance is almost as good in its own way. 9 out of 10 as for now.

Basically. Although I am yet to spend some serious time with the new album.
The Resistance
I should win those tickets because the 2000km separating me from Teignmouth would be the ultimate test of my unconditional love for Muse.
Nice to read about a local festival for a change.
Sadly, this year's line-up is mostly not my cup of tea.
Wishy-washy sums it about right.
But then again, I'm a dangerous idiot too.
omg
Poznan. I'll surely be there.
In Rainbows?!
You guys really think it's that good...? Come on...
None of the albums on the list...
...beats this year's Spoon, Kevin Drew, Portugal. The Man or even Interpol. Damn, you've made me vote for Klaxons.

I'm really hoping to see the return of the Through The Window Pane vibe some day...
