808 State?! Fucking hell.
I almost want to go. Almost.
Don't talk to me about that fucking Fopp instore.
Fucking wristbands. THREE YEARS OF SIMMERING ANGER.
Too much Tomassi, not enough WK there.
The AWK gig was incredible. That's pretty much all I have to say.
The amount of people holding up camera phones in that third photo saddens me.
Rock'n'roll! *click*
I don't really care that much about the Mercury prize,
but any recognition that Elbow get is met with a massive grin and a small cheer in my house.
Lovely stuff.
I've got the promo of the original release.
Yours for a grand.
You mean like 'selling out' wise or 'it really does make a difference to the content' wise?
I knows nowt. Enlighten me my man.
^ this
Does it make any difference? I'm not sure I really care who owns things. Whatevers good for you, I hope you're all chuffed.
B) Stag beetle
I'm playing the odds.
I wasn't looking at your feet, sexyface.
YEAH. See you on the dancefloor.
I'm going to go to this.
That really is all.
I was at Glastonbury in 1997.
How any festival that takes you more than an hour to get between stages can be classified as one of the 'best ever' is beyond me. It was fucking awful.
Well yeah
They're concentrating on the dance stuff they used to put out for this particular 'chapter', or whatever. Which is nice. But for one album, this isn't really that varied or great.
Especially with three SL2 songs
and two Prodigy songs.
You betcha.
Admittedly I'm a dickhead for missing them in February. I'm just trying to recover lost cool points for myself.
I think I get it.
But it's broken my brain.
He initialled the review, you dufflebag.
Chris 'Can't Read' Alcxxk.
I now know how to respond.
Involuntary laughter and the need to leave the office to get my breath back.
I'm not sure how to respond to this news.
I'm properly speechless.
Castle Donington!
Do I get a bonus point if I tell you that I used to go to the Open-Air Market on Sundays at Donny race-track and I once bought a bootleg tape copy of 'Ten' by Pearl Jam from there? No?
There are two ways of looking at it.
1. I just seem to haemorrhage money when I go to festivals due to my desire to buy the round for as many people as possible.
or
2. I once spent £4000 on a bean bag.
:D
Seems normal to me...
I dunno
But can someone at DiS try and get to the bottom of the Zoo mess please. I'm enjoying reading about that shambles at the moment.
:)
That's how I want all record sales to be calculated in the future.
1. Clive
2. Tony
3. Lily
4. Paul
5. Woody
Ah, I've just read. So he doesn't care about demand.
So why bother to release it at all? Why not just sit and play it to yourself at home? The perfect way to feel confident as an artist.
A second one?!?
How many copies did his first one sell? Is there REALLY a demand??
Who had Tapestry on the sweepstake?
I had Zoo8 or whatever it's called. I bet they announce they're cancelling next week. NOTHING IN THIS GAME FOR FINISHING SECOND.
BUT ALSO THE FUTUREHEADS
Seriously, I'm not going to let this go. It's the single of the year by about eighteen billion miles.
CTRL+F Futureheads 'Beginning Of The Twist'
'Nothing found'.
Seriously guys. That hurts.
This is where my immaturiaty shines throgh
THINGS IN FONTS THAT AREN'T NORMAL FONTS MAKE ME GIGGLE LIKE A SMALL CHILD.
^ I was just going to say this.
EVEN IN MY ANGER I HAVE TO LET YOU KNOW THAT I BOUGHT THE LIGHTEST, QUICKEST MOST AMAZINGEST COMPUTERTHING ON THE MARKET! LOOK AT ME! I'M KANYE WEST! I'M HIP, COOL, RICH AND ANGRY!
