The Sound

The overarching complaint I've heard from everyone i know that went was the poor quality of the sound - I found it particularly shite at the main stage and at the bugged out tent.

Great line up and Les Savy Fav were great but toilet queues for Joe Public were ridiculous.

I for one would be happy to pay an extra £10 for better quality sound.

It would definitely put me off going next year if I knew the sound would be as shocking as this year.

And £8 for Chilli Nachos. WTF! £2 for a small bottle of coke??

Still putting Richie Hawtin on the line up went some of the way to putting a smile back on my face..

FULL TIME HOBBY

Full Time Hobby records. Because it rules. Micha P Hinson, White Denim, Tunng etc etc

The Boss

Would totally still get it.

ting tings

WTF

Literally

cannot wait to hear this.

Boo yeah!

!

Next time I'll just say "Quaint" since "twee" seems to carry negative connotations in that I guess it can mean being excessively quaint, dainty, delicate etc. At the end of the day the band are good, the album is good the review is good. End of.

What I mean by "Twee"

They are twee in that they are quaint and quaint in that they are charmingly and endearingly odd. How many bands can drop cysitis into the equation and make it sound beautiful and also allude to philosophical themes? What do you take it ot mean?

Nice

One on I am Kloot.

Live

I have to say I spent the whole night at their gig at ULU in disbelief that these guys had fans - (ticket was given to me before you ask).

I'll admit she's a good front woman and has a great voice when she's actually singing but the bratty shouting she engaged in for most of the gig did absolutely nothing for me.

UNKLE

Unkle will be awesome if the Brixton show was anything to go by...

Outsider Indie

Great album: Bought this off the band when they played Barden's Boudoir - I highly recommend checking them out live - hell I even went on my own which rarely happens and is testament to how great they are. Twee, philosophical Outsider Indie. Pure brilliance. My only complaint is that "Now that you are pregnant" isn't on there.
