no

great loss. it's been downhill all the way since 'Power Corruption and Lies'

You'll regret that

in the morning

Pretty difficult

with a mask and snorkel n, i shouldn't wonder.

This is surely

a wind-up?

...a shame it wasn't leaked

nearer the summer... I'm ashamed!

It's by far the best

thing they've done. It's a shame it was leaked so early, it's a 'soundtrack to your summer' kind of album for me.

It's not a bad album,

but I prefer their more 'visceral' approach myself. I can't see me laying it as much as their previous albums.

Spot on, shadyadie!

And I prefer to have my loud noises on vinyl and CD than downloads!

The fat

was too hot when they fried that egg!

I have all their

other album, they're a really underated band.

Can't have

too much Hefner.

Hope he got his round

in first.

Good on you Morrissey

Reunions are pointless for the fans, the only winners are the band who cash in big-time. Fuck nostalgia, if you missed it you missed it, the world's moved on.

Excellent news,

I love this woman.

I'd have to

agree, they're both excellent.

I'm surprised

that anyone is still surprised when some shite record gets to no. 1. You can't underestimate the taste of the great British public.

Why?

What is the fucking point in reforming. It pisses me off greatly that any band who've called it a day once would even consider reforming. They're done, that's it, forget it!

A sad loss.

The Israellites was a classic song and the people responsible for using it in that advert should be takedn out and shot!

The great thing is

that the show goes on... the man's a living God!

one

lives in hope

...

the Mark E. Smith comment, that is.

I'll

second that!

The plot's

OK. The prose is very scary!

Well they're

oviously going for the old 'Stars in Their eyes' principle of what they sound like, not what they look like!!

Damned right

about The Like, absolute tosh yet championed by the NME.

I'll probably buy this.

It's so sad that two of the band have passed on and received relatively little recognition for their contribution to rock's rich tapestry in their lifetime. I remember buying A trip to Marineville from Rough Trade on a rare trip to london, just after it was released. Blew my mind. Midget Submarines has to be one of my all time top 50 tunes.

I don't call

4 dates a tour.
