oh dear,
sorry for stepping all over your art. SO misunderstood, maybe just too soon for us to 'get'?
^this
"everything = shit"
this is an interesting point
I'd forgotten about Marmaduke. Hmmmm.
ahh, a shame
I've had some great stuff from this label, and they always had a fantastic attitude.
I'll miss them.
rollocks
pull yr finger out, Thom.
The Enemy
worse than The Others?
I'm leaning towards yes.
O BUT WAYTE
DA DRAMA OV DA SINGA MAE-BE MARRYING DA BAZZIZT/
ITZ LIEK, DA LIBATINEZ BUT WIT A GIRL AND A BOY AND
the entire planet gives a cunt.
shit band
shit songs
shit old album
shit new album
The way he jumped about in time throughout
the narrative will allow him to still be discussing his career peak in Vol. 3
Good idea and good book.
I imagine every one in the band is trying to pork her
she's physically my ideal. Curse this love of redheads (albeit, fake ones)
This was nice reading
great guys, thanks Mike x
this makes her more desireable
dammit.
This is so good
what a cracking oppurtunity for a pretty little/not wildly commercial band. Good on The Cure for asking, and for helping them out with the travelling etc
I like to think re: risk
he's hinting at a conspiracy that goes all the way to the top.
^ Haha
Good article too - how this fella takes himself seriously is completely beyond me. There are plenty of shitheads in entertainment, but surely none so lacking in self awareness?
I mean maybe people like MJ, but he's a legend and allowed to be insane.
extras was awful, obvious, tasteless
overly-long ego massaging.
FUCK CELEBS, EH GUYZ - OH HERE'S GEORGE MICHAEL.
Fuck YOU Ricky, hopefully the backlash starts here. You can't make one good show and ride on it forever.
He really is bad
a nice guy, but plain cheese. I remember when everyone on here used to go wild about him cus of the quirky band name. Then the humiliatingly-monikered debut dropped.
Not a fan
But that was wonderful, good on him.
Chris Moyles has probably
written more books than he's read.
Seriously, what kind of fucknut would buy that? Human history is filled with remarkable accounts of true stories, and works of fiction that provoke an entire spectrum of emotions.
I know this seems like Grumpy Old Men rent-a-bile, but some people have literally no imagination. The sniffling man would be better off dead.
Not thought of these in years
were they good? Maybe?
He's always, always talked up
his love of other genres. I remember an interview from years back where he said In Utero's one of his fave albums.
And I agree he's talking sense, aside from the 'genius' stuff.
I overheard a fella in the pub
arguing with his friend about that. He berated the guy for ordering Fosters, then got himself a Carling. A really bad decision when you think that in Manc there was a real ale festival going down, and some nice interesting bitters on tap.
^ This
poor fella(s) RIP
^ This
I saw her first, Manson.
Not really a fan but this sounds fun
Didn't they get dropped for, ridiculously, not shifting enough albums when they sold a tonne?
I love Young Machetes
and, in fairness, he was writing most of those wonderful lyrics.
Really upsetting news
Jaguar Love show some promise...Still, so so so so gutted.
RIP
The album, I mean.
Not 'Jigsaw' which appears to be about date rape :s
definitely their most romantic
lyrically.
Wonderful article
It's such a shame that Capdown just stopped for a few years, with the momentum they had who knows what they might have done?
Brilliant that he took time to do this
good stuff, DiS!
Yeah, massive 'props' to the boys
Good luck!
When it's being left till the end of the year
that normally means it's over - the label will have asked them to take some time out to think about it, hoping they'll change their minds.*
Which is fair, but if it's up in the air in the first place then there must be problems.
* See: DFA 1979
Really hope not
though I suppose they've done all they can do; released some fucking amazing, innovative and influential albums.
They're probably as big as they'll ever be and I spose that sooner or later that much talent feels like it needs rewarding. If it's true then we can expect some fucking awesome new groups.
Is that guy in the band?!
I don't know anything about them, but that really is horrible.
This was rumoured ages ago
and I cried bullshit - but I guess with a kid, and bills to pay...that's life.
I really facking hope that him being offered this job had no effect on Milo, that would be bloody low. I know that Pennie guy only left afterward, but he's been spouting it for years.
Urg.
Surely it's not productive
for him to come over here for just one show. Which implies he's doing something else...maybe to do with the album? Find out for me DiS!
no
he isn't funny any more.
Pretty nice review
gotta disagee with the Nude comments personally. I just think it's amazing, and All I Need is fantastically placed in the middle of the album.
I just love radiohead, basically.
I think he's saying more
that everyone knows you can do it illegal-style, any normal release sort of skirts around that.
I'm basically being more careful when I cross roads and everything - I must not die before tomorrow!!
I did buy this, really wonderful
great review for doing it justice!
Really nice review
think I'll get hold of this.

Y'know what?
If they're sponging the head dry, why not release a rarities thing? They know every fan would get it - I bet it'd do as well as, if not better than, all this best of shit - also annoy the band to death if they released studio attempts at stuff like true love waits.
