Me too!
Brixton was fab last Nov, and I'll be there again this time around!
just words!
Canna make head nor tail of this review, but the albums a cracker that's for sure!
musicOMH
liked it... 5 stars....
shame
Such a shame, Fopp is now closing, just heard on 6 Music.
dogger
really thought this album was dogshit to begin with, but after a few plays (loved the 1st one) there's some keen numbers on this.
Better Late than Never
Got this at HMV yesterday for bob all. Worth waiting for. Lovely stuff.
Moolah
Whats the pay like - minimum wage I hope!
difficult 3rd listen....
however slowly growing on me, like late daffs..... good album.
crap fi
Like a really bad version of Hard Fi on booze - awful band.
too right
Agree 100% - I went in 2004 loved it. Now I'm the grand old age of 30 I'd rather go to gigs in London and stay in nice hotels, rather than slum it with a load of dopeheads for 3 days not bathing, and crapping on top of other peoples crap in a makeshift bog - ewww!
roadmender
looking fwd to all this - yeah the Roadmender closed, then was bought and reopened not so long ago!
It's....
great news - got our tickets over a week ago from TicketMaster for't Apollo.
Rammy
Jim Smith, spot on!!
This LP, whether it comes, or not, I ain't bovvered.
Hit me Baby
This one hit me straight away, there are some rate catchy numbers on this one, and for me this has been a long time coming. Roll on a full tour.
Agreed
Superb review, for me a 10 cos it was the first album that got me into Pulp, and I have very fond memories of that time of my life when I was 17.
So happy to be able to get the various demo's on these re-issues!
Grimaced face...
Are you having a laugh?
Is he having a laugh!!
pants
I mean they had a few listenables on that LP, but a whole pile of duffers. Saw them live supporting B+S, and they were shite, no-one was watching them, they just made noise basically!
tabs
I thought Phil's tabs were knackered and he couldn't gig anymore?
nothing like Suede!
The difference is The Feeling are great big piles of steaming turds.
Straw Bear
Well the Indy said today basically this was a pile of dirge - who do I believe? It has a nice cover though, I know the Straw Bear.......
that I dont like it
Three listens and it's going on ebay, proper dirge I tell thee.
starr
It is amazing, I will only be getting it out of the CD player to play Moz's new un in the morning!
But no but.......
Can't stand the whiny cow meself!
Grr
Can't buy this in shitty scabby Corby, the grim town I work in, so have ordered from Amazon, I can't wait to get this!
Flapjacks
This is awful news, truly shocking. We live in Peterborough - Nottingham is too far for gigs, London is only reachable at weekends, so that leaves Northampton and Cambridge.
Ok so it's still got the Soundhaus but it's a bit like Petereborough's Met Lounge - Ok for upcoming turns, nothing more.
If I had the money I'd open it myself as a venue!
late arrival
Just discovered these - they were playing as pre-band music for Starsailor last week - as a result of which I've been to get the album and I love it to pieces.
yay!
Got two for Cambridge after a long wait on the phone today - I can't wait!
Alfie - Crying At Teatime
I did get the 'Your Own Religion', as I loved the track, a right brassy tart of a number.
In two minds whether to hunt out the further gems on this album - great review though.

Virgin launch new alternative to Xfm
It's all we have on (well I do put the TV now and then), until the missus hears something she hates, and only then will I put Virgin on for 10 minutes, at least they steer away from the standard MOR pot after 10pm, although I'm bound to hear Tracey Chapman's 'Fast Car' at least once a week!
Brendan Benson - Alternative To Love
Re: Where's me fanbase? Sultans Of Ping return!
'Teenage Punks from Planet Sexy Love!!'
Where's me fanbase? Sultans Of Ping return!
I've got 'casual sex in the cineplex' on now, as a 'take me back' moment - they were fab supporting Carter USM back in the day!
Did they do any other albums?
Al
Long-View - Mercury
I don't mind these guys at all, but certainly very lowgoldy and look what happened to them?
The Decemberists - Picaresque
Oasis to premier new video on Friday
Oasis to premier new video on Friday
Yeah come on Oasis, hurry up and have the umpteenth brotherly tiff and split up.
You could start another Beatles covers band or summat.
The Tears - Here Come The Tears
I can't find a bad track on it, Apollo 13, probably is my least fave, if I had to choose.
Belle And Sebastian - Push Barman To Open Old Woun
Have to agree with theguywithnousername, if you've only got into B+S with the last LP, then you must hear these songs.
Al
This April: Things to do in Cambridge When You're

Lamacq goes five days a week on 6music
Love 6 music, it rocks, and Steve Lamacq is king of indie!
I agree, 6music is the new radio 1, it's cutting edge.
Illness forces Ben Folds to reschedule dates to 2005
Digital Radio Movin' On Up
Where I live though (peterborough) there is no XFM though, so I have to listen to that through the TV on Sky, or on the net.
