He looks more like Paul Simon in the 80's
These are my twisted words
Guitar reminds me of "In Limbo."
Still a decent tune though
Do you
like 50 Cent?
whoever
doesn't know the futureheads is just wrong
When mastering
It's a case of volume vs compression. I.e. the louder the mastering then the more compressed the audio becomes, which can affect the quality of the sound.
I also
disagree with this. Thought they were fantastic throughout (agree with Dulli's dancing being cringeworthy like, and I'd say the guitarist was more like Ringo Starr than Clapton) but yeah, loved it. I nearly came when they did Methamphetamine Blues. Lanegan's voice shattered my kneecaps.
i didn't find justice quiet at all
but maybe that was just proximity to the stage.
The poor sound was obvious on the main stage though unless you were near the front.
I've always found the Amnesiac version
to be much more dramatic and haunting. I actually prefer it to the Kid A track, if only marginally.
the whip
i would say got the crowd going loads. their music is impossible not to dance to. even the singer is having it as much as the audience.
One Month Off
is the standout track for me at the minute. Really liking the album as a whole and definitely better than the last.
was gutted
they got took off early at Leeds. They weren't to pleased either.
hopefully the direct line one
that takes over half of the browser will sod off
Hope he gets well soon.
Quite looking forward to seeing these guys at Leeds.
Got tickets for Liverpool gig.
can't wait.
lanegan is an absolute legend.
as is dulli..
That is a good song
stretched out to the point of being rather irritating
How can you go from
awesome to not sure in 5 minutes?
I think it's decent after the first listen. Not typical Mogwai but good in a new way.
From what I heard...
there was a spot of bother with mixing or something, and Dan Grech had to take a lot of time to round it off.
Alternative title
"Scrape Out Your Barrel"
When I seen them live
Someone threw a sweatband at him. He stopped halfway through Song for the Dead and told the guy "Throw something at me again, I'll change your life," which is believable giving the imposing figure he is.
yes
in every way that would be amazing
Where
do you drink that looks like that?
"Since this protest was announced a great deal of misinformation has appeared on the internet"
The Daily fucking Mail complaining about misinformation? Ridiculous irony in there somewhere.
How has no one else got on to that one?
you were
from tuebrook last week
I thought
the exact same thing
Really
dark and fantastic LP.
They were well good
Supporting Queens in Liverpool.
They did the same
With Silent Alarm after Two More Years was released as a single if I remember correctly.
I think Dre and Axl
Are having a bet to see who can take the piss the longest.
Yet another opportunity
For Eminem to have a song going on and on about being "back"
Aaarrghhhh!!!!!!!
I was in great relief after hearing the US dates had been cancelled that the UK ones were still billed. Now I'm distraught. Acute anxiety? WTF?
Jack should tour on his own. Lord knows he could still rock an arena. Just give him a kick drum.
That
comment above was meant to go here...
I
was thinking that myself
"I think the backlash against us is inevitable"
Being shit and all.
I'm
quite tempted by this
I might go to the manchester one
Not much of a Reuben fan, but I've been dying to see Kill Kenada for about 3 years. They've cancelled 2 gigs I was going to go to in Liverpool, one on the night.
The Maybes
Is there any wall in Liverpool they haven't graffitied?
Hope
Win gets better soon. And that they'll be playing Oxegen still.
Wasn't
this released ages ago?
At the Zanzibar
I was one of those about 7 people. Brilliant gig. Can't wait for the 7".
A new MBV album would be brilliant to hear
Hope it's not the new Chinese Democracy though.
I saw A.p.A.T.t. live a while ago
It was one of the most bizarre experiences of my life. They're mental.

Also, 'Hideaway' is a fantastic track in my opinion.
