LISTINGS
Drowned in sound aims to be a global music site as it takes in music from all round the world. However, there are not listings for those people who live on the other side of the pond. I do not think it would take much to rope an american/canadian/mexican in on updating gig listings in their local borough. If a New Yorker got involved, then like london, there would be a shit load of gigs in the listings section for that area. This would then expand the stragnlehold that DIS could have over the internet music based community.

MUSIC PLAYERS
We all hear that you all know bands, so I don't think they would mind giving you or liscencing their songs to put in a music player that sits on the website. This could add interactivity to the site as userse could vote on songs to be put up for the next week.

BAND PROFILES
Dont go down the myspace route as it is lame, i think the band profiles at the moment or great as they are short but sweet. Giving you everything that you need to know about a band. However, additions to this could be a user upload, where users can upload their bands, maybe for a small price so they can be included in the growing list of bands that inhabit the DIS database.

FORUMS
The forums have a life of their own, and it is they that bring the most users back to the website. Nothing to say here as I think the forums are one of the best on the web
