Simon Catling is a good writer on here as well, shame to see him go.

But the music is really regressive and boring. Not a bad album, but I won't be listening again.

The Remasters sound so so fresh as well

Pet Shop Boys- 'Rent'- a classic
Julia Holter- 'Goddess Eyed II'- some really good new stuff
Black To Comm- 'Hotel Freund'- edging into noise territory
Skrillex- 'Bangarang (ft. Sirah)'- like him or loathe him, he's been important for electronic music and is probably the biggest selling and best known 'electronic' artist working now.

But Intimacy and Silent Alarm are both better.

I never really liked O.E.L.M. Les Incompetents were his best band imo.

I can't stand Fred MacPherson, but this is a lot better than people would have you believe.
