One of the BEST gigs ever was on their Madonna tour at Astoria -they handed out all their kit at the end, so even the drumkit was floating around on top of the crowd, along with guitars and an amp!! ha ha. Saw em again at Electric Ballroom recently. Even better muiscally, but crowd was full of pretentious Camden numpties which ruined it. shame. Great, great band!!

Why did no one mention Rage Against The Machine, (who played after Levellers and Spin Doctors.. aaah!... and the lead singer of Spin Doctors got LAMPED by a dude from the crowd!! Ha ha!) Don't make 'em like they used to ... there were also raves happening 24/7 from wednesday to wednesday - NO CURFEW, NO SOUND LIMITS - as they were still legal then, not to mention the many extras that made Orbital absolutely kick ass, after the freakiness of Bjork who was on before in a pink tutu. And you could get in free. And you could bring dogs-on-strings. AND you had scallies everywhere selling everything. oh you poor kids of today... deprived... consumed... sold out to the corporations. Find a time machine if you ever want to go to a real Glastonbury.

Ive hated her from the beginning, so I claim to have the most hate for her! Saw her at Big Chill last year - utter crap - she couldn't give a fuck about making decent music, obviously never done the hard graft of Dublin Castle to Barfly Glasgow, daddy's pulled a few strings here to get her a nice little contract and to make up for being a shit dad, and in A+R she'd just be looking for any old usual commercial shit like her own cack-handed efforts at music.

I can't believe you lot are standing up for EMI over Radiohead??!! What is your goddam problem?? Here is a band who genuinely have something to say and are one of the few bands left who use their position to comment on society. Not only are they a f@ckin good band, they also actually have brains, unlike most of the loser money-making vessels that you lot probably have piles of in your record collections.

It's so sad that the punk days, the John Lennon madness, the political rebellion of the CJB in 1994 (thanks to Senser, the Levellers, Planet Dog etc...) have all been homogenised by the giant corporations promoting music as nothing more than a product or f@ckin fashion accessories. Bands shoudl be ARTISTS, and not the bloody money-making puppets that we have so much of nowadays - Scouting For Girls, The Feeling, Winehouse,Adele, Hoosiers... the list goes on and on... what the hell do they stand for?? NOTHING!! are they passionate artists!? NO!! They just wanty fame and money, and that is how the industry likes 'em.

If you have any passion for keeping the ART in music, you should NOT be criticising Radiohead for at least having a bit of personality. Come on.
