like Andrew Bird imo...
Come on DiS!
HOW is this not in the "Recommended Records" section??
Yet, still sat there is a poor effort by an established American band (The Strokes) that don't even need recommending...
Support British bands and good British albums!!!!!!!!
Friday Night with Jonathan Ross??
Ha,
Good song though for seriously
i like them
i was just trying to explain why i think 9/10 is a ridiculous score!! Surely you don't think its 9/10?!?!?!
yeh
the lyrics are good in some songs and they've got good flow (again, in some songs). But i think you're getting swept along by the hipster shit (i know, you are aware that they're hipsters, but still...). They have the whole beardy, 80's-tshirts, middle-class thing. I guess it's like The strokes; the strokes are good but you just can't forget that they're rich-scenesters, so their music will never be outstanding (maybe this is my problem!). This isn't outstanding hip hop imo. there's so much hip hop better than this out there imo. I think 7/10 may be more realistic??
6/10 from first listen
and all previous oceansize have got a 8/10 on first listen.
Some of the songs sound like they've re-written them too much?? maybe??
I will confirm whether that is a silly statement or not when i've listened again!

wtf?
Really awful article. Cut the Doctor Who crap and it's average. Surely a mention of Flying Lotus would make more sense??
EP is great. Got that right!
