....look, I was not slagging the wtiter off per se, I was asking for more, dare I say it, passion. It read like a school project!!!
As for pretensions, I'm all for it. In fact, I'd like to see all score ratings removed and let the quality of the writing shine through. In time, people may actually begin to interpret and listen to things and form their own opinion. So aharper, good on you for at least trying to say something of note.

....only in the fact that none of your reviews are remotely interesting. Apart from one limp wristed slating of The Pigeon Detectives there is absolutely no sense of anything. Please, please, please develop an opinion coz at the rate your progressing your reviews may just as well progress to say "ah, y'know, it's perfectly nice", please try harder to enthuse, diolch!
Oh, and the Foster the People album made me smile, that is all.
