explosions in the sky:
after having read that brief snippet of a blurb, i'm going out and buying it immediately, oh my oh my!
agreed!
he's not trying to make everyone who flies on planes feel guilty, he's just doing what he thinks is right as he is fortunate enough to be able to afford it, but he never said 'everyone should stop flying on planes like me' ...and obviously trains are damaging to the environment, but less so! the world is all we have, we should look after it.
.
I don't think this is an unreasonable statement to make. A lot of people recently have made the decision not to fly anymore, because it is so damaging to the environment, so I don't think this is just some publicity thing. And as for the 'planes will still be flying even if you're not on them' argument, there's only so much an individual can do in this world of environmental fuck-ups, so at least he's doing what he can. Having said all this, I think I'd like to travel round the world too much to give it up just yet.
i have my ticket
i don't care if they do the sit down thing wherever they go, i saw them at koko and it was very fun indeed. i'll dress as a sailor.
i love it too!!!
but i don't *think* 2 many djs played it at reading. i don't remember that anyway.
hrmmm
i can see why it might appeal to some but i find it just a watered down version of the original with all the good bits taken out...
the myspace comments really are QUITE entertaining though
