Dig
Forgot to add, a cracking album that gets better with each listen.
Hold on to Yourself, my current favorite track!
Bad Seeds
"Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!would closely resemble the scrappy garage-rock of Grinderman"
I don't think Mr Cave would agree on the scrappy bit...not would I. I think the last time he recorded anything as such would be pre 1984, Birthday Party and Boys Next Door, but not since.
Jimmy
I interviewed them on the same day, for another website and I wouldn't say they were dull...maybe it's just the questions that were asked?
There were times when I had to get a bit more out of them, but I think it was more tiredness than anything else. They had the nice-guy attitude that they project when on stage. And even made a couple of jokes, at my expense..but all good!

Dig, Lazarus, Dig!!!
Yeah, "industry" gigs can be the worst, but there were a lot of fans there that night. And some of us falling into both categories..
I stood there in awe, and realized again that Nick Cave is a genius.
And what better way to end the night? Walking out with the set list, used by the great man himself!
