Totally.
I can't say I have.
Mainly because he's always dining with Coxon.
Why is it
any news I read about Blur is always them meeting up for a meal and saying how they think Graham Coxon is great? They must be piling on the pounds.
With support from the wonderful Planet Earth
you forgot to add...
I keep reading the first track name as 'Arses'
I hope that isn't a portent for the album.
A) The Past Is A Grotesque Animal.
Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaase.
I was just monkeying around with your furniture
This should be great. And I'm looking forward to another ridiculously OTT review from Pitchfork.
Anyone care to give me some hints as to who else is playing?
The line-up so far isn't too enticing...
The fat guy?
He'd start rippling at never stop, a la Homer Simpson.
David Byrne would put on a good weekend, I reckon.
He's down with the kids.
What happened to the
Eno, Herbie Hancock, and Squarepusher collaboration?
Tell me you aren't going.
Please.
^^^
Please, Jamie? I'll let you sleep in my bed again.
I like this very much indeed.
The debut's novetly wore of pretty quickly and the songs lost their magic, but this sounds like I'll be coming back to it again and again.
I quite like Hand Me Down, too.
Culture AND Justice?
What a great combination.
The best thing about this video
is the debate on the on of the youtube versions as to whether the lyrics are 'Cassius these day dreams OK' or 'Cassius these day dreams are gay'.
I thought they were going
into the studio with Focus the ridiculous prog-rock band. That would be far more exciting.
Are Gonga still around?
Surely they're only on the bill because on of Portishead signed them to his label about 4 years ago.
Brilliant on Jools
last week. The recorded version sounds a bit sluggish in comparison. Her band were incredibly good.
My first ever gig.
50 indie-cred points to me.
Does anyone 'normal'
ie non-industry types, have tickets for this?
The other two have ladies of their own
so he had free reign, as it were. He certainly did the first couple of times I saw them. The swine!
Also, W.A.S. self-help seminars can only be a Good Thing. They are very funny men.
It's Chromeee
It's Chromeee
It's ChromeooOOoOOoOOOoOO.
Don't know if I'll trek to London to see them, though.
I'd honestly rather have Razorlight
than a Borrel solo album which will inevitably be 100 times worse than anything the band would come out with.
Was going well until
the Chelsea reference.
Sisqo!
Wow, I'd forgotten all about the 'Thong Song'. Until now.
Oxford date!
So this Carling Academy does have it uses, it seems.
You fool!
It's a brilliant album!
What's that about
Kate Nash being a 'Prince infatuater'?
I've yet to read a bad review for this
which makes me very pleased indeed. Will buy it soon. Their last album, Gimme FIction, was excellent, I'd go back to that if I were you. Girls Can Tell is also great.
How many
Mail On Sunday readers are likely to be Prince fans anyway? I can't imagine them slipping on their copy of 'Dirty Mind' and getting it on. Well, I can, but it's just wrong.
Jason Bonham
is a pretty good drummer, I'm sure he could fill in perfectly well. It's not like they can choose anyone else anyway. I'll start saving for a ticket now...
Musicians tend to do press when
they have an album to promote. Surprise surprise.
One of the best bands
at ATP vs The Fans, the were immense and drew a pretty good crowd considering they were first on and not many people know much about them. The album is very good, too.
That photo
of Todd is sums up my weekend.
I'd completely forgotten
about 'and boom goes the dynamite'. Thank you!
