If your number doesn't come up...
...do you get a shot at winning a jar of sweets, or some shopping vouchers. Always love a good raffle.
See You At The Lights..
..keeps appearing on MTV2, and always sounds so promising from the intro but never leads anywhere which is a shame. Going by everyone elses comments, it seems I'm not missing out on much haven't not really hearing anything else by them (that I remember anyways)
I agree 100%.
With probably another 20% thrown on top. I was mentioning it to friends when recommending this album, that it's a credit to Charlotte that she didn't just rehash Grey Will Fade (not that that will be a bad thing), and instead took a gamble to show there are a lot more bows to her collar than just her Ash days and debut effort. While this album is not a spell bounding classic for ages, it offers enough of experimentation for her to build on in the future. No idea how it would turn out, but a mix of what she has learnt from her two albums now would be at least be interesting, even if a train wreck. The Deep Blue is a definate grower though, and I'm sure this would be bumped to a 7/8 if the reviewer was to re-review it in a few weeks.
On the Ash front, I can't say that I have heard a great deal but I do hope their new effort turns out well just for nostalgia's stake. I still remember them opening their GCSE results.
Thank the lord she is concentrating on TV...
..as the sooner she gets back on the telebox to force off Russell Brand the better. Can't say I'm a Church fan either, but she's definately the lesser of the two evils.
A literal...
..Silent Disco. I can just imagine the Tube journey home now, everyone dancing around to their own music, without headphones in sight or faint sounds in sight.
Thats the problem though...
..I've been listening to nigh on all of these songs for nigh on a year now so why would I go and purchase an album to get the same songs that are barely any different from the demo recordings. I really don't mind The View, and find some of their tracks quite catchy. But the fact that they are being left in these rawest form just cheapens them more. I know you can only work with what you are presented, and when they aren't the greatest in the first place you can't really expect something great. But it just seems shoddy laziness that they aren't even attempting to improve from the original demo's thus far.

Stuart Cable..
..needs to return, he was the clear star of the group. Is the random Argie still on board?
