aw brilliant
knowing you and Mike, that'd be epic!
so
it really IS called Brianstorm? I assumed it was Brainstorm and everything I'd read had a typo or something.
I really can't abide them, sorry.
the album..
is gorgeous, i've had it for a while on promo, i love Japan but Werewolf is brilliant..anything with Antony on it just grates on me though i'm afraid, i know that's sacrilege to some but his voice annoys me..
hmm
jeff buckley didn't commit suicide...i know i'm late to comment, but i'll leap on the bandwagon before it rolls out of town
might need this
as i can't imagine what the presets could have done with it...saw them support the rapture last october and it was pretty amazing..
Low Happening..
is brilliant..i'm not sure they should've released it after Setting Sun, it's far better out of context of the album..
otherwise, ace band, ace song, ace album, lovely people!
saw them twice at the charlotte, once where the band practically outnumbered the audience, and the second time there were a few more (as i dragged them with me)
plus my boyfriend has the limited original gold 7" signed...yay!
so depressing...
i watched about 10 minutes before i came to the conclusion that going to bed would be more interesting.
newsflash to the nme - being unconscious is better than anything you can rustle up. oh dear.
wow
it's suprising how predictable this is, two albums in about 16 months, gotta keep the kids happy i spose, can't possibly let them fade into crappy MOR existance - oh, wait..
DM Hall?!
i'm there..if i have money..
all the same, there'll be lots of spraypaint and glittery things!!
arcade fire..
awesome, was about to ask when it was gonna be
shame about the title, but i'm pretty confident it should be ace, i trust them! xx
well
the new single made me so disappointed, i stuck on see this through and leave, and it didn't even sound like the same band, gutted. maybe might see them at the ba2, just to heckle them good and then see dirty pretty things and blame their entire dimise on didz..
it's pretty damn ace to be honest
don't tell anyone i've got it though, got an indie reputation to keep up..
really really
wish I'd been there.
All her albums are magical stuff
well..
i got the milk eyed mender at the time, and absolutely adore it still, and got Ys for christmas from my brother, and he just copied me walnut whales, and yarn and glue, so i owe him :)
best music i've heard in years, so much better than almost anything else at the moment.
can't wait for new CocoRosie and the new arcade fire..xx
hey
nothing wrong with Mansun! i love them..
but should never be linked with tctc
damn upsetting
i've almost never been so disappointed with a single, EVER.
boring, MOR, Placebo-y (not saying they're bad, but nothing like the coopers) and downright crap
absolutely NOTHING like the old stuff, and i'm gonna blame it all on Didz, the big fat splitter
glasgow v. edinburgh
best band in scotland? obviously The Acute, edinburghs finest
"by numbers"
it's a useful phrase when it's referring to something so predictable and dull as that song, i've had more fun queueing for a bus that never came..
