I met a gay man in Tobago once!
He took me snorkelling. I don't think he listened to Elton John though.
Well actually
That's not quite true. In the sense of I didn't think that at all - but I'm banned from mentioning him next week, and I need to get it out of my system so to speak. The title did fit, to be fair.
You said you couldn't write
You're such a liar, liar.
More often than not
He does sound pretty much like a thirteen year old when he speaks - "Bush is an idiot" being an obvious gem of wisdom.
His lyrics however, wonderful.
I wish I could 'get' this so much
But I can only take about two minutes maximum of a song before wanting to strangle her. I quite like those two minutes, but having that five times before a break? It's just cruel.
Can't she just 'ssh' for a minute?
I know, I'm obviously some intellectually inferior, tasteless listener...
I always thought I was the only person to like The Stills debut
I can't resist it at all - it's just so lovely. Plus, it contains probably the best lyricy thing ever* in:
I stumble out of a night club thinking,
"Animals and insects don't do drugs."
*"Ever" meaning "it's cute".
I think I'm going to go listen to it now. Thank you DiS!
(Shame about the follow-up, but to be honest, I wasn't expecting much anyway)
Well, I suppose the North is a very scary place...
And is it being suggested that there's something wrong with the two previous albums? Whilst I won't bother commenting on, er, the first one (whatever it's called), I really like Segundo and Tres Cosas. Really, really like them.
The song isn't great
But that performance on Leno was still brilliant.
As much as I like the music
Was there really any need for these awards?
So I am
How cute.
Domestica > Ugly Organ
They were better without the cello anyway.

The island is lovely, as are the people
Obviously conservative, but that aside, they're nicest people you'll ever meet. Really.
