Agreed
these are mostly turd. And certainly don't merit HURRAY EVERYONE'S A WINNER.
Shit, you're right
Cast my vote for XCom as well, then.
I've heard from numerous sources Halo 4 is crap
certainly the position you've given the series in the FPS constellation is a bit, shall we say, overbearing- they are a bunch of competent to mediocre shooters carried over the line by their decent multiplayer. The effusiveness of your praise wouldn't have anything to do with the prize you're able to give away this month, would it? ;)
Best game of 2012: Probably Skyrim. Solid return to form from Bethesda after the heavy disappointment of Oblivion. Beautiful and surprisingly thoughtful game, the drawbacks of which are as ever easy to mod away.
Goodness me, right on 3 out of 4 things.
A for effort, anyway.
New Vegas was much better than Skyrim
Just saying.
I'll be getting this on the weekend
That it has two tracks as good as the Sun Smells Too Loud and Thank You Space Expert is all I ask.
You shouldn't listen to music on your bike at night.
That is very dangerous.
Thank you so much for the Thom Yorke/Four Tet track
it really is beautiful beyond words.
hopefully
it will be, y'know, more like Funeral and, y'know, less like Neon Bible.
Hope
this is a return to form. Their second album was crap.
much in the same way
I don't bother with most of your posts
ahem
Come Down and 13 Tales were a lot better
shame about the 'gwai
Their take on Plans was well good
Nothing really beats Ruckus Roboticus's Hunting for Witches
7-0
Wolves was so good.
The Life Pursuit
Fold Your Hands
this
attitudes regarding music on the internet have already been formed. It's going to take a very well thought out and coordinated plan regarding the transfer of information on a world scale to change that. I don't think the government is capable of it.
and fuck your sarkiness regarding a new Gorillaz album
The last one was really good.
good choices
may have to give this bint a listen.
I can't find
a reaction picture to adequately describe my reaction to DiS Kaiser Chief themed for the week, but imagine a sick horse neighing through its teeth for the reaction audio

good review
THE WHITE
IT BURNS
Loved Pitchfork's review of this
He could've saved himself the bother and just written "Preferred their earlier stuff".
I could listen to Thank You Space Expert forever
hahaha
I love you DiS.
fuck
are these guys still going?
we've increasingly increased the gulf between authoritative opinion and annoying amateur first-time
Are you reaching for irony here?

Gas Panic!
what a flashback.
hmm
1. Morning Bell off Amnesiac was well better, I can barely listen to the other one
2. AWITC was frigging dire. Of the two best songs off it, one contained the line "East London is a vampire", and the other was like a slightly better Snow Patrol. Think about that.
3. This sounds to me like an "eh" review to me. An album which'll sound good for about two weeks. I've heard Mercury, and it sounds "eh". Wake me up when they do another song like Positive Tension.
Portishead
people voting Mystery Jets, Foals and Fuck Buttons- you're having a frigging banana.
Also, Frightened Rabbit, etc.
a breast on its own is slightly sad
if she got both her poached eggs out then it might have been worth watching, but one tit on its own says "breastfed" or "lump examination" to me
Leaders of the Free World was great
and YOU are unappetising. That is all.
well no
because the amount of energy it takes to purify and transport that ice cube renders the tiny temperaturee change you are effecting...
Oh. I see. A joke.

Call on you or call on me
Like I used to
Slide down this sigh
And wrap you in stories
Tailored entirely for you
Brilliant.
I hope this is good
I really hope
Agree with this review 100%
but still wish you would regulate your use of italics

several parts of my body would simultaneously explode if she did Temptation
I still stand by
my conviction that Open Season is really underrated.

Certainly.
This year I enjoyed the releases from Burial, Tall Ships, Mount Eerie, Errors, Hot Chip, Grimes, John Talabot and Fiona Apple.
The five you've picked aren't terrible tbh. Just nothing to gush home about, and all with a distinct box ticking vibe to them.
