Leftfield Stage was to have bands that had a political edge or did something worth.

Not really getting your point. A good chorus is a good chorus surely. If you want interesting, go trawl around wikipedia.

I disagree with your review generally but music is all about personal tastes. I just felt that some of the comments were unecessary. The morrissey thing was crap and as for the "i'm Bored of you" thing, it was so predictable that someone would use that line to try to make a "clever" point.

Not really the end of the world tho. I've moaned about many an album that other people love

I'm with Dom on this.

I think they write great pop songs. I think the Morrissey "quip", along with a couple of other comments are just cheap inaccurate shots and I can't see how this bloke can criticise their chorus writing.

would have been The Killers covering them which i'm sure would have earned them a few pennies
