This really is a labour of love for the organisers. An amazing setting, great bands, great food, tolerable toilets.

but what constitutes good value? Best time I saw him was for £5 at Water Rats. Not sure how "we" have all slipped into forking out so much for gigs. Now, if everyone stopped going...

A very good album imho.

but the band probably smell like Davendra Banhart.

Obv a much bigger event than it used to be and has lost sight of what it was back in the day.... one night of lager and chips fuelled scampering and jostling around Camden, with a free cd as a map and no clue what any of the bands were like. And it was £20.

Save your money, go and actually see another gig for a fiver, and wait for the free cd to hit ebay.

At one point during the Roundhouse, the Lighthouse seemed to emit a couple of bass booms so deep that it loosened my hair follicles and I voided my bowels. Can I sue?

but not ingenious, as the same idea has already been done before. Piney Gir track is off her first lp, shame its not new. But somehow this cd really works, like flicking through a digital radio with 50 channels all playing indie-folk. Best discovery for me was Foibles "Shoe People".

It will be distributed by Cargo and available to purchase from Norman Records, Smallfish, Picadilly, Boomkat, Covers 33 and Rough Trade as well as through the Static Caravan shop. There will also be limited numbers on sale on tour in October and November."
