You know
I'm sure I typed in drownedinsound in my broser and not pitchfork. guess not.
I've
said a lot about this in other threads so I won't repeat myself. I'll just say I love it. Absolutly fantastic record. A little jaring at first if it's not what your expecting but perservere, it'll pay off.
To be fair
saying they've been going AOR stadium rock since FAA isn't really true as Meltdown was their heavist and most rock album yet.
That said, this is a weak track and doesn't have any of the character of their other 'ballards' like Sometimes or There's a star.
Fortunatly I don't think it's representative of Twilight of the Innocents as a whole going on a few other tracks I've heard.
But he was wearing
the eyepatch during the Machester gig and had the cut on his nose. And he said 'Nottingham took my eye'. I'm guessing it was in Nottingham but after the gig.
I believe it was
Nottingham when he got hit. Thats what he said at the Manchester gig (the day after?) anyway.
On a positive note
Nothing has been announced on the official site/message boards. SO you never know it might just be a misunderstanding. Appartently in interviews they've metioned doing albums after the lastest one so fingers crossed.
Gutted
One of my favourite all time bands of the last 10 years. Sure some of the latest stuff isn't as strong but they did some cracking songs. :(
I am really looking forward to this
Ash are one of my all time favourite bands.
A new song is avalible for d/l somewhere. I got it here:

Listening to it for the first time, it sound promising...
Yeah I really like it, a good mix of 1977/FAA sound. Better than Meltdown I'd say.
You do know that
thats 4 song titles not 1? You do? Good.
Bah, Chasing the Junkie Doller
Thats really bad, couldn't they have booked Doherty for a couple of weeks after.
I wouldn';t be happy if I was in one of thsoe bands.
I don't think it's sold out
Just not enough stock.
On the Ashmatic Kitty site it says they're getting more in hopefully in the 1st week in Dec.
Exactly what I was gonna say.
But look at it this way our children will get to listen to an album of remixed/mastered/whatever Oasis songs 40 years down the line.
The end of the world can't come soon enough.
The guitar line
in Wasted Little DJs reminds me of Petrol by Ash.
They do sound like early Ash a bit, but not as good.

It stands for
Original Sound Track, as in music written for the film/tv programme I think.
So this isn't an OST at all. Just music that appears on the programme.
