Lydon's clearly way out his depth nowadays. The, uneasy, posturing and pouting he does now is pure pantomine.

He's so far away from what made him do it in the first place (geographically and emotionally) that it's just acting.

I can believe that he said this with zero understanding or appreciation of how idiotic and arrogant it shows him to be and sadly he'll prob stand up to accusations of racism with some typically aggressive bullshit about how he's incapable of it or something similar.
