I saw them once
in Middlesbrough (Channel 4's 'worst place to live' apparently) ages ago. There were about 8 people in the audience, including me and the support band on after them. The lead singer flipped about on stage and danced like a maniac during most of the songs, claiming near the end "just because there's no-one here doesn't mean I shouldn't make an effort does it!?".
They're fucking ace. Great pop music and funny too.
I
got to see them live thankfully. They were lovely.
And now for something completely different -
A man with a tape recorder up his nose...
Ahhh
So THAT'S why we get holidays and presents around this time. It's to prevent us from killing ourselves, yay!
But
listening to lightning bolt over 80% and at 100% is so damn good i couldn't care less if it meant my ears would actually drop off.
Bright green boxers?
Now honestly...
Nice
Looking forward to this. Personally I thought their debut was ace.
Very good review.
I agree on the 7/10 too.
The video
is quite quirky and silly, yet enjoyable but the actual song is pathetic. It makes me want to kick faces when I hear "whats that coming over the hill?..."
Leeds...
...never lets me down. Such fantastic news.
This
should be in their next video. Just imagine it.
"They have produced an album called...
...The Devil Is A Loser"
Oh the horror! They're anti-satanists, get them banned!
*up
....
Just clearing this us
"If 'huffs dong'" was obviously "It 'huffs dong'"
I think
you're right. If 'huffs dong' so they're just procrastinating putting it out in hopes that Kelly Rowland will forget about it.
News like this
makes me grin like this :)
I wouldn't mind:
Tiger Force, 3hostwomexicansandatinofspanners, Whirlwind Heat, Ex Models, These Arms Are Snakes, Bearsuit, 65daysofstatic, That Fucking Tank, Yourcodenameis:milo, Neils Children, Emmy The Great, Gogol Bordello, Motormark, The Go! Team, Amusement Parks on Fire, Klaxons, Dead Meadow, The Slits.
Last year
they had The Research, Das Wanderlust, Chicks on Speed, The Cribs, Shrug and plenty good local bands. So yes, this year is a bit of a let down, minus Hope of The States.
Saw them supporting the research
I thought they were pretty good. I enjoyed their set.

I got
into DIS through 2.0, quickly followed by 3.0. Then I bought the back catalogue 1.0 and 1.5.
But 4.0 is a total sell out... *ahem*
