(LOL @ QanU)
It's not been packed of late.
So I did.
Apologies...!
yeeeeeah
for this show... why?
good, good....
They must realise they're too good to not do Comets any more, right?
ooooh get you
the kings head is well nice.
Sounding good...
...not surprised to see that they're on Rocket.
Someone mentioned this lot to me the other day...
...I am going to listen...
Press release said 'That'
but clearly it's 'A'.
^^^ this ^^^
had better be for 4real.
Nope.
It is part of the Co-Op group.
I have family in TODD.
Trustorie.
It was Canada Day Monday.
Shurrup.
it's pretty spesh
yesss.
They share the same... what's the right word...
...sort of 'combat' aesthetic to their sound, although Harvey Milk obviously pre-date them by some way. I like 'em both.
I think I heard those same Canadians...
...sat outside at one point, saying just that.
. . .
"reviews are supposed to be done from a neutral point of view"
You're new to music criticism, right?
It WAS in Cornwall...
...I am just out of date. By a few years.
this?
"I blame Bjork and c**t rumour mongerers that have clearly made the people with the money very twitchy. Thanks Bjork. Thanks DiS. Thanks NME. Thanks all the moaners."
I really came around to The Drones...
...after some initial 'meh'ness.
Gala Mill is a bit spesh.
Massive Attack
Has gone back to early 2009... hence it not being here...
missed that...
...corrected.
I remember the days when I could get the N8
Oh, no... that was my postcode.
I can't get any bus home from Old St.
The article never said 100%
that they were not playing, merely a contact had informed us they'd heard neither were... as it turns out Battles are not, so the information was a clean 50% sound.
Seen both supports very recently...
...and even put them on myself this year. Plus (most notably) I was late leaving work, late meeting my friends and late getting to the venue. So I arrived, had a sit down and a drink and heard barely anything of either act; certainly not enough to base a review on. Know this, though: I like both bands, or else I would not have booked them. They = good.
hee hee...
...well, I was a little too far back to be sure (but he has just been here, so I figure it coulda been...)
^true^
I accept your reasoning, sir.
If I get a sniff of something...
...it's worth posting and waiting on confirmation... organisers/PR are saying yes they're both playing... hence the above... but a further update is to follow as that's not the whole truth.
Cesc wants a tv show.
Not my shins.
that video
is brilliant.
I love her.
But she is a gobshite and she did forget her lines. Both, trufax.
these comments
make my life worth living.
I would have thought...
there'll be some mention of Puritans in the next couple of days... I don't personally think Beat Pyramid is an amazing album... it does feature some amazing songs tho.
You read it.
I WIN.
rly?
not even listened to it since it came out... does this make me a bad person?
