Sorry Sean, it was working fine

was referring to the fact that you are making a Great Escape Spotify playlist, as per another post but ta all the same!

Anyone thinking BTH is Regina's best record

..probably isn't really 'getting' her I would suggest. Hopefully a return to her earlier glories rather than the MOR side of things. Saying that, her Truck Fest Barn performances following BTH's release was nothing short of magical. In short, she is amazing!

^ this blatantly

Works on so many levels (well, two)

OK Computer.....type!

I'm quite liking it and it's certainly not as dull as X&Y. Reminds me slightly of why I used to spin the Brothers And Sisters EP a fair amount at the turn of the millenium with 4 or so pleasing tracks (which is about all can be expected from a RFUS'er.)

Having a go at Coldplay re: Pro Tools seems a little harsh though. If here, then why not condemn 95% of all other LP reviews with a smiliar tarred brush?

What a strange review

Really like them at the Carling Tent but didn't really notice any Athlete traits at any point. (Thank fuck)

Weeell...

Larrikin Love were easily the best thing I saw and were a bit special I thought. The crowd seemed to be really going for it from where I was standing I thought but each to their own I guess. But yes: shit hair.

Re: Tomboy

Demo was ok but personally I found it nothing more than OK. As you can tell from the review, I was really impressed with the band live. So much so that I believe I went to see the band again two days later (however, as I own the worst memory in the world, that may be incorrect). But yeah, I forgot what I was saying now, so bleh! End.

Re: Mumm-ra The Everliving

Despite Paul 'Keane' Swindale not liking them for some ridiculous reason, I thought they were smashing. Hip Hip!

Re: The Arcade Fire - Neighbourhood #2 (Laika)

The B is an extremely bizarre song, 'My Buddy' supposedly from the 40s with a heavily distorted vocal songstress. As it comes with the Arcade Fire seal of approval I gave it a few listens but I imagine if it were from any other band I'd see it as a pretentious waste of plastic... Doesn't detract from the genius of the single though.

I Am Kloot - Over My Shoulder

Yeah I'm a big, big fan of the Kloot and it's not that I hate this song. It's just that they can/have do/done better in my opinion. Still, will look forward to the album though.

Re: Engineers - Engineers

Yes they did support the Music and yes they were disappointing last night I have to say. Especially after the album really struck a chord with me. Shame really but still doesn't draw away from the album for though as it seems to make more sense

The Black Velvets

Was a BIG favour to a friend! Sorry...

65*daysofstatic

Something makes me think I'm gonna regret ever making that Darius comment sometime in the future! Really was a gig to restore faith in all things music though.
