I adore this record in its original format. Possibly, just possibly, it is the best record I have ever heard.

I would also be interested in hearing it. The EP is great but the fact the album has taken sooo long is not a good sign. I've a feeling the talented one went off to join Chimp as well.

yeah. This is an awesome record.

I have never really liked it much. Grubby. But I suppose it is one of only a couple of venues this size. It would be sad to see ANY venue in London go - if they could rip out the interior and make it a little more like Kings Cross' Scala - which is almost perfect as far as I am concerned - then it would be well worth it. Do the same to the, even worse, Forum as well; though that is literally around the corner from me so it always has a soft spot.

What about the Mean Fiddler venue, is that included??

Part Chimp are my favourite ever live band, I think. They have totally blown me away too many times.

I was gutted. But I didn't need them, they weren't that kind of loud. But they were so exciting. I'll never forget this gig.

I'm downloading the Phil Spector album now. I bought a second hand copy of this in a shop in Liverpool years ago and have never played it cos my record player broke soon after - I'm lazy - so I'm looking forward to hearing it.

Though it was funny watching a tenth of the audience leave in together after about 30 minutes. I didn't last much longer. I saw Simon Price from the Observer in the lifts at Warren St tube at 10.45, having just left Tesco. He obviously wasn't too impressed either. The band just need to practise more it seems. Oh, and Hockey Night wanted to be Pavement so much it hurt.
