Llama Farmers were sweet
I remember seeing them support Symposium at Reading Fez. Good times
I know why people compare them
The strings, vocal melody, guitar tones and influences are all very similar if not the same as Vampire Weekend. I don't think the songs are as strong though, people only slag off VW because they're huge now.
Hmm
Live they were average. The songs all merged in to one but maybe that was because of the bad sound. I think they're not bad but nothing new really either, sounds like a poor man's Vampire Weekend, that said i'd still check out the record.
My friend Steph plays piano
in Rachel Unthank. Mercury Nominated -Crazy!
Hmm
Would Calvin Harris even exist if there was no LCD Sound System? He owes that dude lots, plus he's shit compared. Dizzee doesn't do much on this track so probably only deserves credit for making it mildly more credible.
Does anyone
own Sea Lion? I really like this song, is the album worth getting? Sounds like it would be some good summer listening
Awesome!

Phoenix write amazing pop songs, Ed sums them up well in the last part of this interview, clearly a man of taste. Great feature!
