everything Hydra Head puts out these days is pure gold. This album is no exception.

are probably one of the worst bands ever.

great. Even though they seemed a little bit out of their depth playing the Astoria so early. But kudos to them. And yeah, the crowd was pretty chavvy.

Battles are a million times better.

I was saying to my Dad (who really liked the album) that playing that slow and keeping in time is very very hard.

owe rather a lot to Don Caballero too.

But not that good. Let's see how they are at the Astoria. I get the impression that it's more a debut that will be listened to for a few months and talked over as something new and cool, then relegated to the past as 'something cool from 2008'. A debut to cherish for years, I think not.

Only heard the first track, but it's fantastic. Bill Frisell is a great player too, anyone who hasn't heard his own releases should go and pick one up.

Can't wait for this album. If it's half as good as Enter, it'll be stunning. Hope they tour over here this year, I missed the Water Rats show last Summer :(
