I think his tongue is planted firmly in cheek and i am actually quite looking forward to having a listen of this even though its a christmas album. He has certainly been a very busy boy of late.

That being said i found their music got rather samey and perhaps even a bit boring after a while and if it wasn't for their awesome energy and outrageous live act then i would have got bored pretty quickly.
But everyone should try and go see them live, just great fucking fun.

Devoid of charisma and energy. I am fan of their first 3 albums but the latest is utter dross and could not believe how quiet it was for Nick Cave, that mans a fucking performer!

Saw her at sleazys the other week and they were brilliant, thats the 2nd time i have fallen in love with annie.

It tails off a bit towards the end but all in a very good album. And a nice summery one to boot. Good review :)

While not as strong as his previous 3 albums which were all great this is still very good indeed and as you mentioned Dylan does seem to be having a ball. As a big Dylan fan is great to see no sign of let up from him. Hats off.

although they had a couple of good tracks, i very much enjoyed their set as they were full of energy and good fun.

Their last gig in the barrowlands up here was amazing!

The last 2 albums have been unbearably average.

Fisrt saw them in Glasgow a few years back and immedietely took a liking to them.
Here's hoping they go onto great things.

KOL don't put on much of a show, there are no surprises and its what makes them an average live band.
I am a huge fan of their music but have never been impressed with them live!

at the gigs but it can change in certain parts of the campsite at night. Again 95% of folk behave brilliantly and a small minority let the side down.
I canny be arsed dealing with the scumbag neds anymore though so I go to other festivals.

but obviously edinburgh would do nicely.

is my natural reaction to this line up!
Last years was a really good mix of old and new and upcoming. Pity cos last year was brilliant, not sure I am gonna get tickets for this year!

They have done more than most flavour on the month indie upstarts put together but their output of late has left a bad taste in the mouth for me anyway. Its boring, backward and MOR. For me U2 are no longer an important band and the longer they go on writing this current shite then the more it will take away from their once glorious past.

own so many companies, they are huge!

they haven't made a good record in years and Bono is a fud of the highest order!

Ludovico as well a couple of years back.
Not bad at all, I wonder whatever happened to them!
