"The album Futures and the single ‘Always Be’ are available now via Interscope"

Surely that should be 'Chase This Light'?

John Squire...

He has an exhibition on at the Smithfield Gallery right now

LOL

I think he's pretty good. I heard him on the DiS podcast from a while ago.

^^^^

Agreed

I have to say....

Liverpool does much better for bands now than a couple of years ago.
Korova gets lots of new bands on as does the Barfly.

And i also despise going into Manchester to watch bands

No Liverpool :-(

A trip to Londontown is being planned right now

Urgh!

I'll be able to hear this in my garden cos Knowsley Hall is so close to my house. At least it's better than Status Quo who i was forced to listen to last year

:-D

This has well cheered my day up

^^

They have played in Liverpool before

:-(

I knew i should have gone and seen them on their last tour

Yay for Ticketmaster

They sold me mine for Friday at 8.57am!!

:-D

Manchester on my birthday = BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!

Shame i'll be too poor to go :-(

LONDON!!!

Oh yes yes yes!!!

I am a very happy bunny at work now :-D

CHARTS! Franz Beaten by... Marillion?!

Even more of a shock to me was the fact that Marillion are still together?!?!

Re: Le Tigre

I destroyed my hand and can't play guitar as good now :o(

Le Tigre

The band i used to be in were very much influenced by Mastodon, Isis & Old Man Gloom

Two girls in it too!

HMV Waves Goodbye To The USA

What do they expect??
I'm not gonna pay £16 for a cd in HMV when i can walk a further 200 metres and get it for £6 in Music Zone

Re: Ryan Adams Comes a Cropper

Other than that comment, it's not currently known how badly Ryan has been hurt, but we'll keep you updated when more info comes in.

He has a broken wrist. The sound when he fell was sickening

Converge Sign To Epitaph

no one saw this one coming did they?

Re: Manics Greatest Hits Tour

was at the Manchester gig and it pretty much was awesome. I wanted to hate it....cos it was a 'Greatest Hits' thing and i went there thinking everything they would play would be 'post-Richey' but i loved every minute of it (and how hot is JDB looking these days??)

Re: 'Fame Academy': Vote for the indieboy!

ainslie was the only one in there who actually had any songwriting talent....which is apparently what the whole thing was about!
