But I do agree that Twilight Sad are setting the curve & are far better that most of the new Scottish bands popping up at the moment. Having seen them 3 times last year they are destined for greater things regardless of hype or over-exposure! They don’t need the “Daily Record” or "NME” or the average Joe to buy the album.

Glasvegas are not bad!! But I am not convinced as of yet so I will give it time.
But the band’s that he aforementioned as “Bands” of Glasgow are nothing but pale imitators of the more successful bands of the past 4 years.

For every Franz Ferdinand there will always be a Texas or Wet,Wet,Wet
Type band to back its substance!

That if Funeral never came out this lot would be banging on about "The Modern life" & "molly’s chambers" like so many band's in Edinburgh do. My friend summed them up in 1 shot "It's Waist Coat Rock" i.e. a band Of This calibre must wear this on stage-
