Think Tank

I'm all for prizes you know.

The Antlers

Thanks!

Haha, fucking Weezer at 13?

Genuine lol.

C.

McCarthy. Thanks!

Comedy songs:

Not very funny, shit musically.

Always.

The Flaming Lips

Thanks (if I win!)

I've been listening to this for a few days now.

It's genuinely great. 9/10 for me. The guest spots work well, Superfast Jellyfish is a bit grating though. Some of the slower Damon tunes are gorgeous.

No Bernard Butler = no point

It all went tits up after Dog Man Star.

Nice to see them back

Although, of a 7 date 'tour', 4 dates are in a different country, one is at a sold out festival, and the other 2 are over 100 miles away, I'd argue that they're not really 'coming my way in the near future'.

Nice to see them back.

From the frat-boy song titles, and previous few albums

I'd say it's a banker that this is going to be shit.

Seth Cohen

Please let me look cool.

Is there anyone still reading these articles?

Please, no more.

Great interview

He sounds like such a good bloke.

b) It's Jo & Danny

Ta!

Not much suspicion

It probably allows for an extra London date.

1) Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid

The others in no order...

Torche - Meanderthal
Foals - Antidotes
Los Campesinos! - Hold On Now, Youngster
TV on the Radio - Dear Science
British Sea Power - Do You Like Rock Music?
The Mars Volta - The Bedlam in Goliath
Neon Neon - Stainless Style

One (part) trick pony

Ooh look, you've got the toy mic out again. Well done.

Fuck Buttons recipe book

1) Nice, shimmery melody
2) wall of noise begins to build up
3) Bit more noise
3) toy mic screaming over the top
4) song breaks down to reveal nice shimmery melody (I like this so far)
5) repeat ad infinitum (oh dear)

What they should have done:

1) Released 'Sweet Love for Planet Earth'
2) Split up

JAG!

shit lyric

Centred text

looks shit.

No apparantly about it

by a fucking mile.

It's a strange one.

That song is the best thing they've ever done by miles, before they started the gradual retreat into MOR 60's revivalists.

That gets truer each year

but at least its not at Butlins.

I still need to go an ATP though.

^

And all of the Torche album.

Not even a

Shetland one?

I voted for The Lipster, honey

.

The Thaw Sessions recording sounded really good with a nice groove

The single I quite like, but I really don't have much hope for the album.

I'm going to say

a} Grasshopper

Queen Elizabeth II

Hot isn't she?

I hope the time out works well for you all

and we get to hear more stuff in the future.

Hmmm...

"Tonight's headliners Los Campesinos! seemed like a surprise choice to some people – they’re not entirely embraced by the fanzine and button badge crowd due to their slightly mainstream popularity."

Sounds all very elitist to me.

Abbie,

please don't let them out.

Me too.

Out of these I've only have Foals, Fuck Buttons and Johhny Foreigner. And Fuck Buttons certainly aren't getting my vote, despite Sweet Love for Planet Earth beiong the best thing on any of these albums.

What was

this new site called again?

to

have the light turned off?

Oh yes.

They should have got me to do it.

"Field Day 2: Give it a go, it can't be as shit as last year can it?"

Super Furry Animals

be thy name.

Sorry to disapoint

but no problems getting home from Glastonbury this year.

that should have an 'a'

in front of it. But you know that.

) The Past Is A Grotesque Animal

I like these quizzes the sort where you don't have to think and stuff - it brings everyone down to my level

Good stuff dudes

I'm in danger of buying the album.

I see no photos

of JoFo signing my much-anticipated CD and popping it in the post. ;)

Peter Kember

be thy name.

I'd box,

seal, and hide away a large amount of stock answers to these sort of random questions, so that I wouldn't waste half my day trying to think of something both original and amusing.

Oh

dear.

Really?

Where's that? Never heard of it.

A) All over this land

Birmingham please!
