Hi, this is Jono, the bass player from APTBS, I want to apologise to everyone who came out to the Birmingham show. We were in London and had scheduled a radio session for 4pm. We got there at after 5 and almost had the session canceled after it took us an hour to get less than a mile through central London. (Seriously) We recorded the session and loaded out all of our equipment only to find that our van was parked some distance from the radio station and that London was jammed solid with traffic and there were people everywhere. It was the night of the Champions League Final. We got our gear loaded into the van at about 8pm. At this point we had no choice but to call the venue in Birmingham and tell them we couldn't make it. The supposed two hour drive from London to Birmingham doesn't account for traffic in central London. We were told it would take us two hours just to get out of London. Sorry.
As for the "Loudest Band In New York" thing on the myspace: That is the original review in which that tag appeared, it's not something we lay claim to, we just thought the review sounded good for all the other things mentioned and the loud thing just took of from there. Once again, sorry to everyone in Birmingham hopefully we can make it up to you next time.
