Its not
just 12 Return of the Beserker's, anything but...its got the maturity of the second album, with the pace and quirkiness of the first. Saw them on this tour in Dundee, different class.
.
The Futureheads, sticking it to the man! Brilliant, buy this!
Yup.
Invite only + competition winners though.
Exactly
They did that instore for the release of Beginning of the Twist and played in Newcastle at the beginning of March. They also played 2 shows in Sunderland before Christmas. Avoiding the North East? Nonsense.
....
'Im Not a man, im a machine/chisel me down until i am clean'
Brilliant, represents his tough exterior or somet.....
Personally
and im completely bias, i think its a brilliant album. 8 or 9 out of 10 for me. Its more complete than Employment and doesnt drift away at the end like some said Employment did. Really catchy songs throughout. The highlights being 'Ruby' 'Angry Mob' 'Heat Dies Down' 'Everything is Average Nowadays' and 'Learnt My Lesson Well'. They're not pretending to be anything serious or conquer the world, they're good clean fun and for that i love them. Fuck the sceptics, have a tin of lager and lighten up.
its not
the best song on the album and shouldnt have been released in my opinion.
the new single
is a choooon!
Kaisers
did a couple of UK festivals in the summer but have been 'away' since april last year. oh aye and they're fookin brilliant.
love
this band
lyrics
dont make music
it was a promo
picture for employment i think. I dont understand the hatred, they just make pop songs which are fairly harmless to even the angriest music critic, surely?
statistically then
you're likely to get this one wrong too.
no you're wrong
its great news.
that article is not true
the new single 'Ruby' is available for download a week early, 12th feb and is released on the 19th. then the album is out after that.
cant wait!
they are one of the
worst bands ive ever seen.
spelling of your
being deliberate to piss you off
thats cos
your a cunt
Four-piece?
nme.com made the same mistake i though DiS might notice this and correct it, tut tut. People forget about Archis its not fair. This album should be a corker, probably not as good as A Certain Trigger though. New songs 'By the Monument' 'Girls who play Guitar' 'Russian Literature' 'Nosebleed' and 'A Fortnights Time' are sounds brilliant
MAXEEEEEEEEEEEMO
that is all
liked the first
this is shit though
brilliant album
good review. Muses best album for sure
and
you have to remember the album had only been out about a week so the crowd wont have known the songs that well. The album needs time to bed into their live stuff
thats a shite review
and mate your talking out your arse. The Futureheads deserve much credit for not re-gurgetating (i realise thats spelt wrong) 12 versions of Hounds of Love which would make them pack out venues and be much more successful. Instead they have matured and developed an alternative album which compliments the first. Ok, its a let down for those who only go to see Hounds of Love but it gives them much more credibility and they deserve that credit for not producing what people really associate them with. Unlike what bands like Razorlight, Killers will inevitably produce, re-hashes of album no.1.
new album
is brilliant and i cant wait to get it in full quality
agreed
however all neighbours should be introduced to 'heads
brilliant album
brilliant band. This just nails down the reality that they are going to be making great records for years and years.
well
football needs an anthem because if you look back at what it did in euro 96 and it was phenomenal. If you can unite the nation singing/buying one song it just helps and terrace singing helps too. Three Lions still sends the shivers down my spine and gets me going
Drowned In Sound gives
band a bad review-band will probably be massive
Stop the Puns now!
get well soon ricky i say.
Support
in London is Maximo Park if anyone is interested
There arent
enough words to describe how shite Audislave are
thats some good
posting. Couldnt have put it better myself
1st Album
was a bit curious on 1st listen? but its more brilliant the more i listen. Ive heard nothing but great reviews of there new material. And i rekon if the lyrics and songs were better known, like after the release of the new album, then the gig would go down better. As much as i like Kubichek they are nothing in comparison t the Futureheads and Maximo
There album is
and will probably be one of the finest records of 2006. All tracks are brilliant
Good interview
Tom,s a nice bloke too. As much as I love Maximo Park i still dont think they should have done this tour..

Lets face it
He'd be an idiot not to use the fame of Maximo to promote himself and its more of a side project than a solo project. His album doesn't do much for me anyways, nice bloke though.
