Perfect review. I got the album when it first leaked and put the headphones straight on and was amazed at what they had done. I was pretty worried that this effort was going to be dire after hearing a few shitty bootlegs, and the way Kele had been talking about the record and how depressive it was going to be, but even though the general jist of the album is depressing, its bloody uplifting aswell thanks to the music. The band have pushed themselves onto another level with this record and haven't just played it safe. Too anyone saying that this album is only aimed at 25 year old londeners, youre just picking straws. Im a 19 year old living in North Devon, and this album speaks to me in many ways. Drug taking and trend-obsessed kids etc... is a nationwide thing which im sure many people couild relate to. And after all, look at the album title; what else is he going to be talking about; Londons the biggest city and he is a londoner!
Anyway, ranty over. Definitely best album of last year (thanks to leak) and should easily be top 3 of this year. Well done on the review....
