Anyway, the issue at hand. I quite like this and think it's a bit of a grower. But it's just missing something which the first album had. I like some of the changes in direction, though, and the production is pretty much spot on. I think they've both gained something and lost something, but it's not a million miles off Waited Up.

...inconsistent. And it eats memory. I like the sleekness of it all, though. But yeah, the Flaming Lips have always been one of those passing bands for me. Sure there's some stuff I'd like here, some maybe less so...

It also forces the reviewer's hand somewhat but to give this 5/10 was a fair result, I think.

Some great and classic tunes on that there list.

And it irked me because it's not really a valid criticism.
