Not really...

...the 'posh' thing is more of a disclaimer, since everyone always fucking bangs on about it. Fair enough really.

Yes, they are. How silly.

Enjoy the show!

Strange.

Cheers for the clarification, though, seems what 4AD posted on their website and what actually happened caused confusion.

Thanks again, Sloan!

Worrying and sad? Why so serious, Pablo?

This isn't a Guardian Editorial...no particular negativity to Thom's actions in the article. Relax.

Come on then...

...discuss, seriously!

Never mind.

There's always next year etc.

neeeeeeeeeeeeed this.

Christmas money, here I come.

Korekt.

Easy to mix those two up, to be fair.

A FINE FINE FINE FINE FINE FANTASTIC

Great choice for no. 2. It's probably the best "sounding" record of the year, if not the actual best. A masterpiece. Spangly.

It's a great song.

Shit lyrics, mind.

We're having problems embedding for some reason...

...seems to be temperamental. Thought I'd leave it for now, click the link to their blog instead.

You feel out of touch...

...but 8 out of your top 10 are in our top 20, and only one doesn't feature in the list at all?! ODD.

and...

AS IF it's the best album of the year!

Most, if not all, of my hearing loss is due to clubs and live music...

...playing ridiculously loud - that's a much bigger problem in my opinion - one night and that's it, Tinnitus for the rest of your life is a bit riskier than anything an mp3 player can do to your ears, even over time.

It's OK.

6 is a fair score.

Wendle...

...you didn't link to your amazing piece on how to make DOOM's album cover better. You should have!

http://www.thelipster.com/articles/how-does-one-improve-on-doom-s-new-album-cover

It's like WWI survivors.

Soon there'll be nobody left - and then WHAT?

OOPS.

HAHA!

I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE!

I don't really know what to think to this EP...

...I've listened to it once through and I think it's too dense for its own good. Makes me feel a bit overcome with sound listening to it, which for some is a good thing, but seemingly not for me!

Where did my comment go?!

Anyway, massively looking forward to this, if the new stuff is anything to go by, which I'm sure it is. They're going to be the next decade's Hefner, but hopefully a bit bigger.

Good stuff.

Really looking forward to the new one, could be their best yet, given what new stuff I've heard so far.

Well, that's it.

If she feels this way, she could leave the label without TOO much of a fuss, for the same reasons, rather than slagging off Big Dada, which just seems really fucking petty.

I think that's the idea...though I'm not really using it properly...

...only other than to upload stuff to embed it onto our pages. Should investigate a bit more...

My point really was that it's lo-fi rather than no-fi...

...it's not an attempt to make it sound all scuzzed up, but the sound quality and clarity isn't particularly great throughout, which is fine 'cos it doesn't really matter when you've got tunes like they do.

Um...it was originally released last year...

...but had a re-release this year. I think.

What working class?

There we go! Forgot to close a brack and put an underscore...

...if anyone was wondering...

Yeah, it is.

And it's actually encoded in the text for this article, but not appearing on the page, which is fairly baffling...

It's fairly ludicrous, and even as a limited edition.

It's shocking value for money. I mean, what the fuck are you actually paying for? A limited edition APPLE shaped USB stick, great!

I quite think so.

.

Ha!

Leading so far, I think.

HA!

Half-tempted to leave it in, tbh.

Sure they are.

You just won't get to see them!

NERF BLOODY HERDER!

YES!

This and the Hudson Mohawke record

...have to be two of the worst album covers of all time.

Yeah...I think the point of Tresco sums up the problems of scoring...

...an album of 13 songs with 4-5 amazing songs and little else is given the same mark as something which is just the right side of average-good throughout. Problem is people seem to take the score more seriously than the words which is perhaps a little silly when there's been 750 of them written.
