How many times then?
8

86?
Is it really quantifiable, or does it largely depend on the album?
Sadface
:(
Not enough people at WB...
plus they don't really have play that many upbeat tracks...BBBC was superb but their set just seemed to be a little...meandering.
A fair assesment, though I quite like it...
It does meander a bit too much though...
How about...
BROTHERS OF GOMORRAH
Hahaha!
"This is a buzz band"
:)
You should WELL do one of these...
...for At The Drive-in...
Great idea!
Now I just have to figure out who the flying fuck buttons to vote for.
It sometimes reads like a list of what people think should be there...
...rather than what actually deserves to be there, if that makes any sense.
OMG
Mogwai covering my favourite Pixies song evar!
I reckon 2 or 3 from that list will make it to the shortlist.
Fuck Buttons, Portishead and Foals.
I hate to be such a pedant, but...
Unless JoFo have mastered time-travel as well as a catchy but noisy pop-rock style, the entry for June 21 actually says July 21!
I love the fact that someone who goes by the name of "Christ T-T"...
...says "what the fuck?!" when presented with two initials.
Someone seems to have posted a link to Kev's Facebook account on Chris T-T's blog...
For identification purposes. The plot thickens...
Yes, that's a lot better...
Like the new layout of it.
Some kind of severance fee?
I don't know what the lineup was exactly, but I'd imagine the money would be a fairly big deal to some of the artists playing?
I am become death.
The shatterer of worlds.
Indeed he did!

So it appears DiS numerical system goes 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,9,10...
That would explain the high number of 9/10 rated records then, eh! UBERWINK
I really wanted to go to this, have missed Diane Cluck a couple of times now...
I quite like Emmy The Great, but every time I've seen her live it's been a bit...awkward, like her voice doesn't carry enough weight, a tad timid.
I'm happily pleased with the Johnny Foreigner album.
Especially the production, there's some nice touches on there...it sounds good, in short. Just got the Errors one and it's so far so good...
It's a good listen, pretty consistent too.
The vocals really make it for me.
Good call on Henning's Favourite from the JoFo album.
Though I think Salt, Pepa and Spinderella slightly edges it.
Well, funnily enough...
I agree :D
Think he means
Lamar, as that's what everyone said when I mentioned them.
Well, yes.
But it all comes under the broader 'Metronomy' name, doesn't it?
Do you want a series of graphs and charts?
Or a review?
A)
A) 'The Past Is A Grotesque Animal'
You know what?
I was listening to the Vampire Weekend album last week, and thought, "this is the kind of acceptable but indie music that middle-aged fathers would like".
I shan't be getting my dad any of this stuff, probably more likely some golf related paraphenalia or some Jack Daniels.
What did he think
of Elephant Shell?
Good list
Top marks on Oh, The Guilt.
I'll do my top 10 in a bit..
Thanks.
I picked up a bit more from the side of a ferry.
Bli med og bli bid. Apparently...
This review makes me want to see what I'm missing.
or have missed. Didn't see them at ATP...
Norway=WIN
Apart from it being a tenner for 6 Tuborg or something like that. I really want to go to this, maybe next year. Hopefully when I go the weather will be better than last year when it was well...
Regn, regn og mer regn.
