Following on from the news of an extensive UK tour for February next year, the quite-brilliant Allo Darlin' have confirmed the release date for their next album. That's called Europe and is due out in May through Fortuna Pop!. The first single to be taken from it has just been announced, too. It's 'Capricornia' and comes out on February 13 2012. »

We've had a few posts of and relating to Ghostly International in the past couple of weeks but now it's the work of co-founder Matthew Dear that concerns us directly. The news this time is that he's releasing a new EP, entitled Headcage, which will be released by Ghostly on January 17 (16). There's also a full-length called Beams on the way. Interestingly it features a duet with a bloke from The Drums.»

Back at the end of last week it was confirmed - in a strange sort of way - that Sleigh Bells would return with a new album in 2012, following on from 2010's Treats. There was scant information at that time but, thankfully enough, a bit more of that rare stuff has leaked out in the last day or so. We're here to report it. Firstly, it'll be out on February 14 through Mom + Pop Music in the US. We guess the UK release date will be around then, too.»
