good gracious
never seen such an expensive ticket for a non-stadium gig!!! ill just see them at Reading instead *realises they clash with klaxons tho :s*
:)
good line up! sadly the clashing of acts is gonna be mental this year! too much choice!
good on him
probably deserves it more than some people. for instance, sir jimmy saville as i found out yesterday. services to broadcasting my arse.
....
never really liked them tbh. hope they change my mind with a new record
oh dear
hmm was looking forward to seeing them in bournemouth too :(
undoubtedly...
the worst kept secret ever. this rumour was doing the rounds after last years fest, ah well give them some oxygen and hope they can last a headlining slot
great times
hmm coming back to see them in portsmouth i think! randomly saw them in Bath last weekend in fopp.
really though
best dressed faris rotter? *notes stupid name* he'd get beaten up down my way. pillock. anyone can go to a fancy dress party as robert smiith, no need to do it all year round.
hmmm
i live on the isle of wight and its pretty shite theyve stopped doing cheaper tickets for island residents but hey ho at least we dont pay the RIDICULOUS ferry fares.I t is pretty awesome tho to have this and the bestival (which is probably better). yeah the line ups dull, but its good that we can get these kind of artists as the local gig scene is shocking. muse were shit hot at reading last year and snow patrol always give a good set when theyve played here before. all sorts of rumours round here bout sunday. everyones saying the stones but ive also heard the killers, chili peps and even bloody U2. hmm either way ill be going to Reading anyways.
hmmm
have a lot of love for NYPC. heard this song a while back and glad its got a release. at the end of the day its 3 minutes of fun dancey tomfoolery and who cares if it has longevity, im sure there will be a new scene to take its place before ppl tire of it
still think
orson winning best int. newcomer is more shocking, nay...... disasterous!
hmmm
why exactly are the ataris now indie? saw them 3 years ago with planes mistaken for stars and rocket summer. wasnt great, but back then pop punk still existed and kids still liked to pogo etc. god ive made 3 years sound like an age and myself 10 years older, oh my.
boy for sale!
here here. great on the isle of wight in 2005.
indeed
a quality song and im glad they had the balls to release a song thats a bit different and not entirely radio friendly
:)
bath mate. im there. was begining to think bath may have been the worst uni choice ever in terms of gigs. makes a change from the smaey indie types that play at moles every week.
worrrd.
nooo
ah no way. thisgirl were... na screw that... are brilliant. sad day. one of the best shows ever was tG, Biffy and oceansize at the wedge a couple of years back. ah well will be a good evening
im so smug, im gonna tilt my chair
yep times like this remind me why im a pompey fan. *cough champions league cough* yep oh and before i get a load of scummers coming back at me,
pompey 4 southampton 1
the game which sent you down.
but hey as old ble eyes says...
"thats life....."
but.. i am having to do a bloody review of the good, the bad and the queen for our student paper. so lifes not that great.
in the ambularrrnce
yeah will be at brizzle my nizzle.
hmmm...
so i guess all that stuff about Cuba and all the other stuff theyve got on their soap boxes about makes them cunts too i take it?!?! hmm......
indeed
look forward to this. certain trigger was pretty good.
hazzah!
yep will be worth a listen
good to hear
chimaira are probably the best of that new american metal lot. deserve to be signed again.
it comes to something...
when artists like girls aloud get best of's. theyve hardly been around long enough to do one! grrr blatant cashing in! guydegwrkduqewqgqdqwe :(
fuck the isle of wight etc
am going to bristol. crack is whack holla, and all that.
cos where like... ya know... like....adventureres yar?
love them, Reading performance was great. fun times
i was there!
hmm must have been his last gig at Reading then? that was brutal tent moshing. infinity cat? its ok.
woosh
good album. one of the first i bought. think its probably a good idea to introduce it to new fans, cant see a reason for it to be just a cash in. havent done anything in a while.
cobblers
reading was ace this year, not a bad word to say except nearly got robbed in the middle of the night, but got worken up by cops shouting at some wee chavs outside, overheard one of them shout "aye lets take you back to the ppl whos stuf you stole blah blah" fuckin arrested and the shit kicked out of them? classic.
i say i say
the mars volta are actually genius in every way. best band around at the moment IMO. as for ATD-I, well i dont rate them much. i mean i respect the fact they were very much pioneers of theyre time, however it feels to me they were just a platform for omar and cedric to be unleashed in TMV. i mean lets compare TMV to the other off shoot band, Sparta, who i can only descibe through removing my trousers and eating my own arse. yes a painful experience. Both 'De loused' and 'Frances..' have been utter genius and i still find myself hearing new twists in each song even today. so as for the new album, i cant wait. i know ill love it! rawr indeed.
should have gone...
....to isle of wight festival instead. best festival ive ever been to. perfect weather, so relaxed, no fights or trouble, everybody smiling and mass drinking/stoning sessions in the sun. perfect weekend. :) better than getting beaten up by goths in a field up north i think.
rarararra metal!
hmm slayer and mastodon?!?!?! reading? same day as dashboard, TBS and MCR? excuse me? who thought this one out. wil be good to see them (on my own at the min cos i know no one else who managed to get a darn ticket) but seriously? the lil 12 yr old emos there wont know where to look!
