Wow.
Just..wow. Really that bad? :(
I'd give this an 8.
A definite return to form. Even Mercury has grown on me lots.

The lack of B-Sides
isn't good..
Hope For An Angel currently ranks among anything they've ever done for me.
Re. belfast date.
I am so there.
This review makes me
really curious...
Musically it's a fantastic album.
Lyrically it's an average album.
Still, music is more important than lyrics for me, so it's still a very good album overall.
7.8.
This was a huge surprise.
I thought they'd lost it after Pushing The Senses, but this might be their best album.
I heard Say Hello To The Angels
in a club last night. What a song.
No Belfast :(
Still, a new record is fairly amazing news.
By the way,
Until The Day Is Done has actually grown on me a bit. There's something very slightly off-key about the chorus which I like
I like how short it is.
I listened to it from start to finish twice today.
Good album.
I'd give it a 7.4.
Pitchfork ratings FTW.
I'm on Virgin :(
Oh well, the only things I download anymore are links people leak. Soulseek/Limewire/torrents etc, I don't trust.
Also, my finances are pretty decent right now, so I can afford to buy CDs anyway! Gonna get the new Elbow and Guillemots records soon. I prefer owning CDs than mp3s, and I think I speak for everyone when I say this. Need some proper CD shelves though, as my collection is getting too big for my bedroom shelves :(
I had tickets for that,
but had to pull out at the last minute :(
No Belfast?
BOO-URNS!
He needs new ears,
simply for saying Favourite Worst Nightmare is boring.
It's a million times better than anything he could ever put his name to..
Definite fanboyism,
BUT I really like the record, so it's alright.
The crowd
were absolute twats. More interested in causing trouble than the music. Also, three quid for a warm Stella is not what you would be hoping for...
Good gig though, although you're right, it is a poor venue!
Good to see he's
getting over his England snub...
...
Now that's HOTT.
Put Carl and Pete together,
and magic happens. On their own, they're average.
No Reuben?
Their album was fantastic.
Also..erm...Bright Eyes? I thought DiS loved them. And anyway, Cassadaga is one of my albums of the year.
I quite like this song.
It's cute.
This band let me down
with the last album. Big time. Production was terrible.
I quite like this album.
7/10.
They really aren't that good live.
Admittedly, I am basing this on a festival, where no one was really giving them the time of day...
Harsh!
There are plenty worse bands.
What I really meant to say,
is that I've discovered more of their past records recently. There Is Nothing Left To Lose is also my favourite.
The new album is actually quite good. Tracks 1-5 are excellent. Admittedly I'm yet to last past track 7 yet...
Is it just me
whose love for the Foo Fighers has actually GROWN in recent times?
I can see it now.
Dre rapping over one of their songs. MAGIKKK.
:)
Shit band
in "slagging off superior band" shocker!
:(
Why are they releasing the most docile song on the album? If they wanted another ballad, why not As Dust Dances? I do like Machines, but it's not single material...
I love this band very much.
What I don't love, is waiting till next year for the album :(
This song is meh.
The whole album is meh. 5/10.
But she's famous?
Why should she have to handle her own problems?
....
Also, Mike missed a trick with possible puns. Poor show.

Nah, it has B-side written all over it for me...
I got the iTunes version cus I'm a lazy bastard, and i'm seriously considering re-tagging Sky Demon. Good song, but it doesn't fit.
