It's weird, I've loved Codeine for a while, Frigid Stars IS my favourite album. But I never though they were as well known as this. Great piece, I enjoyed the Richard Riggs piece too.

I love that acoustic version of Pea too, good find.

!

I've used that site a few times, it's awesome. The live set is well worth having. I just wish I could get hold of some of the covers...or that version of Cave In with Alan Sparhawk.

!

Me too, though those tracks are tunes, its a shame it wasn't something more special..

!

This was an excellent day, though I didn't really care for any of the bands between P.R.E. and Youthmovies the beginning of the day was great, Herra Hidro, Cousin Scampi, FFWW and P.R.E. were all on top form.

Nicely done people involved.

!

I have to say, first time I heard it I was at stage four, it's been a while since I'd been so excited about one song but I can't get enough of it, it's like aural cocaine, or crack...or what ever the cool kids are snorting these days...

!

Such as..."they look like they just came off the set of University Challange."

Pure wit.

Also, I love when people confuse the musicians with the music they make.

!

I can image Oasis' response will be somthing along the lines of "ooooggaaaoooggga...brahhhhh!!!!". Probably in next weeks NME.

Everything he said is true, well done sir Okereke.

!

Leicester is a bit of a hell hole and way too many people for my liking but it's not as barren for bands as you may think.

What I've heard of the P.R.E. album sounds awsome, I'll to get one when I'm back in Leicester...

!

The first three only I believe.

I'll be at Cambridge, dancing like a prat at the front like it was 1983...

!

I think I plan to say this everytime she opens her mouth but: You go girl.

Maybe it's all a marketing ploy to get misenthropes to buy her album.

!

I think there's a mistake there, they're playing Leicester on the 18th. Leeds is on the 12th.

Leicester is with Fight Fire With Water and This Town Needs Guns (and Paul Marshall) I believe which is a quality line-up.

Also. The first few lines of the title made me think Jeniferever had split up...

!

They play the uncencored version in certain convenience stores with video showing above the check out.

Just think of the children. Won't somebody think of the children.

!

I only discovered the fact the day before so it's not too late in my books...

!

Change is a genius of an album.

I'm hoping this will lead to full come back age.

!

I think this is the first time in my musical lifetime that a rubbish band have split up. The score probably now stands at 11-1.

!

Rhythm & Blues. Not this cack that is usually played on the radio under the title of R&B.

Either way, I was tres disappointed by the Klaxons album...shame.

!

I'm actually looking forward to this. Awesome.

!

Good for him.

!

Jesus & Mary Chain have reformed? Awsome...

!

Joy for new Elbow...

!

Hi, my names Thomas, I make a living out of doubting

!

I can't wait for this, it shall be sweet.

!

There are some 100% tunes on there. Cool Rasta by The Heptones especially. Has anyone been getting the Trojan Selecta comps from last year, there were 4 at £4 each, great stuff on there.

!

I double the Leicester vibe. Though today the date was unconfirmed as of yet type palava...

If it happens though, the line-up is going to be fat. Fatter, infact.

!

Public Relations Excersize have never looked so damn sexy.

!

I actually like them, since I heard them last week that is, the single was a bit sh't but some of their other stuff is pretty awesome.

It was actually the funniest thing I saw last week when I saw them play Leicester, 14-16year olds trying to throw trance shapes and failing. Badly.

!

Really? I thought the new Bronx album was poor. Except for Sh''ty Future maybe...

I would have expected My Chemical Romance to get that award in Rock Sound though...

!

That track on the Deftones album is my fav on the album. The Giant Drag album is great too...

!

Me too, that was hilarious...

I love his music...

!

20 hours? Bah, I've wasted years on that game...well 01/02 anyway...genius.

!

Awwww what...that's poo...

!

Maybe she's just taking the P out of the NME cool list...maybe they'll print a retraction next month and give it to Bono instead...

!

I havn't heard the new stuff, but Hollaback Girl and What You Waiting For were tunes. Rich Girl and the other one, weren't though...

!

Is it going to go down in folklaw (spl?) or something then.

Note to bands, if yr going to whore yrselves, be good.

!

Doesn't he write all of Oasis' tracks anyway...what would be the difference?

Also..that Young Knives advert is fu''ing annoying.

!

Well done to them, their demo CD is joyus...

!

I didn't realise she'd slagged off Muse in that article, maybe my internet browser censored that bit...

You go girl...or someother agreeatory comment like that.

!

Mmmm...will they be as good as a four piece? We shall have to see...I have hope.

!

Me too...I can't wait for this

!

Me want go:

65 Days of Static
Saul Williams
Help! She Can't Swim
TV On The Radio
David Cross
Youthmovie Soundtrack Strategies
Radio Dept.
You Slut!
Final/Jesu
Team Sleep

!

Make me.

I like the Grey Album version of Justify My Thug.

!

You've read it, you can't unread it!

!

If people stopped releasing CDs, I'd probably buy nothing as I've never downloaded anything before and I still like have my tangeble item.

!

they should play here more...live goodness.

!

A best off? Woopycellent!

I'm tired of having loads of separate singles...

!

Personally, it's not a touch on Crimes in my opinion, I liked the noise and screeching and Beautiful Horses type stuff.

We Ride Skeleton Lightnin is a tune though.

8/10

!

If you could get Help! She Can't Swim to support again that would be amazing, that was possibly the best tour ever....

Young Machettes takes a while but is reet good too.

!

I like JT more than I like Isis.

This is probably "wrong".

!

I was reading the Ofcom regulations for all Radio today and they basically tell us that Radio is so last century and that Digital radios will be taking over soon.

Probably true.

!

DIS is the only music site I come to regualry, infact I can't remember the last time I went anywhere else.

I think it's more for the writing style rather than anything else. That and the fact that DIS news-me-up on the type of bands I like.
