THOOOOOOOMAAAAAAAAAAS MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDGLEEEEEEEEEEY
WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?
Odd, I thought Let's Go Eat The Factory was classic GBV
and really good despite tailing off a bit towards the end, while I found Class Clown a bit boring mostly.
Fantastically written review
(except maybe the phrase 'drummer Jack Egglestone's awesome drumming.') On only one full listen so far I think I'd lean more towards a 7 but I'm looking forward to seeing how that changes when I have a CD to wear out. As great as the new members are, I'm still trying to get over the Kelson-shaped hole, but the EP went up in my estimations with repeated plays. Even with Travels, as much as I always loved it, it took me a while to realise it actually is better than Curses like everyone said it was.
Definitely less immediate than Ritual
but very rewarding after a few listens. Great album.
British Sea Power have the monopoly on tea and beer
with British Tea Power and Zeus lager. If only you could them through their site.
I don't think it's THAT much better then Time To Die (which did have one or two great tracks)
and certainly absolutely nowhere near Visiter by any stretch. Still decent though.
Hasn't this been out for a couple of months now btw?
Probably in my top 5 of the year
and a big, big improvement on the already great LP. It's surprised me too how it's sort of faded into the background, when it came out I'd expected it to be a firm album of the year contender for pretty much everyone.
Bookdrifts
Or 'Reading In The Aisle'.
I wish I lived in Scotland now
Although I'd end up spending loads of money on going to all five. Oh well, I'll take solace in the fact that they played Captain and Listen To What You've Got when I last saw them last year.
