It was called 'Chromatic Blues'

on play and Hmv for ages but it's always been listed as s/t on the Hydrahead site

I think

It's a brilliant album actually. Bluesy 21st Century Pysch Pop.

Its self titled aswell, not called 'Chromatic Blues'

I love Kula Shaker

And this album is at least a 7.

Boooooooo at your review...

Isn't the song actually based

on an old Jam song ?

I haven't heard the single

and I'm not a fan but this is a very brave review.

Well done

Seems like

a bit of a missfire after the debut single

Agreed

It's so good I actually can't listen to it anymore cos it hurts me

I really care

you wouldn't believe how much I care

If Weezer split up I would be inconsolable. For a bit.

Wow!

they really are shit. i mean properly shit

I can't believe they have the cheek to name Syd Barrett as an influence when they sound like that!

I heard that he was offered 3 record deals

within hours of leaving the house!

I had visions of an Airheads style outburst...

no it's there

I checked

yes I still have it

they are getting quite big like so I wonder what ebay will have to say about my original hand made Dartz! demo

Actually it was when they were called Darts! wasn't it?

That's even better

No but I think I was there with you

I agreed then I think

But that was early days when they still sounded like an emo band playing Franz Ferdinand covers. They've really found their sound since then though

Ace

I was at their first gig!

I thought they were shit!

How very wrong I was...

What Cedric said is amazing

encouraging physical violence against them.

I love that guy

Even better

I spent the tenner on more stella on the way home!

CRAZY CRAZY NIGHTS

I also added some rather

innovative percussion such as the sound of me burping and crunching pringles

ACE

I sing some backing vocals on this album!

hehehehe

I was paid £10 and as much stella as I could drink

oooooooo

that's fantastic news!

Gigs are nowhere near me like but will endevour to get to one

Great review

best i've seen of this. This really is a great album and i've seen some terrible reviews. Even though I already owned all bar 1 of the songs I still love it. The re-recording of THE ACCiDENT is spot on. Favourite track though is A ROOK HOUSE FOR BOBBY

I was at home

tucked up in bed watching world cup highlights with a cup of tea

PS

I actually remember not so long ago in the Arena in Middlesbrough, this guy was telling me that I should listen to Yes cos the Bass player was amazing. I didn't know the guy, god knows why he was telling me this but anyway yeah prog rock = good bass players

Neil Peart?

Come on! Geddy Lee, best Bass player ever

.

More of a COVER than plagiarism

.

Ridiculously obvious that like.

No way was that an accident, they've ripped it wholesale!

That's sad

I really liked them

My band

supported these a while ago. Nice chaps and this is a spiffing little tune

That headline

is fantastic!!!!!!

Yeah

I shaved it off but it's back now

I concur

bring back the beard!

did anyone

see the mirimar disaster supporting?

Ace band, disturbing visuals

65's visuals were amazing though

Saw them

on this tour in Newcastle

Simply awesome

D'you think

Barry Burns is going to have a go at you on their website now?

hehe

i love mogwai.....

I disagree

That's a cracking lyric that is!

Plus calling them 'Post-Rock' is doing them a vast disservice

iLiKETRAiNS - A Rook House For Bobby

Can't wait to hear this. I agree they are a wonderful band

Going to see them in Newcastle on the 26th

In The City Unsigned 2005: who's playing where and when...

I don't think it's that Fratellis James

I think it's the ones from Glasgow

And go see iLiKETRAiNS please cos they're amazing

Nine Black Alps - Shot Down

I love this record. Reminds me a bit of thisGIRL. B-sides are great too and i've seen them live twice and thought they were excellent. Bags of energy and promise in the songs and the most exciting thing is that they're still developing
