I think...

... they sound more like Yes than Emerson, Lake and Palmer.

...

Why is everyone so scathing towards her? I mean sure she ain't the most articulate person in the world and she has a fascinating grasp of grammar but it doesn't deserve mean-ness.

And why shouldn't she mention semi-obscure leftfield artists? Shit, famous people might like them too!

well...

I think she is crap both musically and lyrically. However, everything she's said seems pretty valid - if she were a great lyricist no one would say she was vapid. I can't write for shit but that doesn't mean I'm stupid or ignorant.

On another note, I REALLY wish my flatmates wouldn't play songs by her so loudly.

My respect...

... for Robert Smith has suddenly dropped. By a fair amount.

Yeah...

... but Moby is definitely RIGHT here. YOU SHOULDN'T KILL PEOPLE. It does not matter what crime they have committed, murder by an individual or the state is not morally justifiable. EVER.

It PISSES ME OFF.

am I...

...the only person who was more interested in the etymology of the phrase 'in the offing'?

i may get stoned to death but...

i do like the man's hats.

..

no they didn't

mm..

there's a rumble strip on the approach to Bracknell on the A329 (I think)

..

i've got a bike, you can ride it if you like...

...

fair trade too.

EVIL

coca-cola is a product of satan. drink organic lemonade.

Dr Dre is about as controversial as my arse.

Ahhh...

Yer missed a 't' in the url, aye.
I'ma gonna look when I get home. Yes siree.

Yeah but.

Yeah but if Vincent is 2, then Vincent squared would be 4 as would be Vincent times 2 or Vincent add Vincent and so on. So really it does work. Yup. **Further Maths A-Level**

EMI suffers cash slump: blames Chris and Damon

Tragic.

Note that they still are making a profit though. But of course, this still makes headline bloody news on Radio 4.

(I don't listen to Radio 4... *ahem*)

The Mars Volta release download-only single

I somehow doubt the Mars Volta had much to say about the download release, or, quite frankly, care very much.
The album is the important thing, no?

Manic Street Preachers tour

Mmm.. Hammersmith Apollo. Excellent.

Going is not a question, it is a fact.

Athlete - Tourist

Vehicles and Animals rocked my socks in a gentle, chilled out way.
If this album is as bad as the review says, I shall be a sad, sad man. And Wires didn't seem promising, sure it was very good... but no El Salvador, or Westside, or Beautiful, or You Got The Style, or Out Of Nowhere for that matter.

The Used - Take it Away

I liked the first Used record... it was catchy. The second just isn't, it's just derivative.

Still listen to it though... listening to all good music makes my head and ego hurt. Crap music makes me feel like anything I write is bloody brilliant.

Re: The Used - Take it Away

Leave the teenagers alone. They like to wallow in self-pity!

(I commend you on liking The Mars Volta though. But Iron Maiden, puh-leaze?)

And leave the pretty boys alone, you're just jealous 'cause they (mostly) get the best girls.

The Departure

Saw them at the Garage. They were pretty damned awesome, in my opinion. They aren't manufactured, they're just bloody good. And consistently so, having seen them four times live thus far, and each time being fantastic.

Re: Oasis Tickets - See Hear, Now.

Oasis are good at what they do... however, after 5 albums of what they do, one might think that they could move on musically. However, they just get more and more derivative.

They continually do the same thing whilst other bands such as the Manics, Blur, Supergrass develop their music, incorporating new ideas and even changing style.

Pluse they said they are better than The Beatles, and I resent anyone for saying that.
