It is
pretty common.
I loved their debut EP
so I am very excited to hear this. I didn't even realise it was this close to release.
Greatest Spanish musical act of all time
yes even better than Juan Martin.
You're even arguing with yourself now
By the way, was I the only one who detected a huge chunk of sarcasm in buynikesshoes_09's post?
I never knew
that there has never been a Conservative councillor elected here in Manchester. Makes me proud.
You off to V Festival
by any chance? Or is that too edgy for you?
Yep album of the year for me too
but I also agree that they probably won't have another quality album in them. I hope they surprise us all though.
Yeah I really like this
I was suprised just how good it is.
Mathematics
Yes sir.
"a lot damn worse"
or a damn lot worse? Discuss.
Yeah when the hell did that happen?
Excellent replacement though.
Nice review
really enjoyed reading that. I am hopeful that the distinctly average track on this album will grow on me and make it a more rounded listen.
It's a mixed bag
Some really nice songs on there (Factory, Way Back Home and Evening Kitchen), but some pretty average ones too.
Still looking forward to seeing them live again next month. Always worth hearing Funeral and Monsters if nothing else.
Nice review
of an excellent record. Perhaps my favourite of the year so far.
Well I have faith
that I could change my mind. Might be nice to have a TNP grower.
Sorry I should add
that it is the only album of theirs that I have been dissapointed with
So far...
I think this is their most dissapointing album to date.
I asked them if you pronounce formidable in a French accent
when I interviewed them last year. They said they get that a lot, which surprised me.
Anyway the chorus of this reminds me a little of Smells Like Teen Spirit.
I assume you meant
111 points for Wild Beasts?
This is a good album
but for me Foreign Born's 'Person to Person' was far more impressive. One of my top three albums of 2009.
Your supervisor

Don't see what the fuss is about
Not bad, but not that great either.
I'll be waiting a little longer for another great band from my city it seems. It's certainly been a while.
You see
the book is great but I didn't find it particularly sad. Well, maybe that bit where he makes that guy strip off his clothes...that was very sad actually.
Anyway great review and I really hope this film does the book justice.
I am already concerned about how much his wife is going to play a part in the film. I am sure Charleze Theron hasn't been drafted in to do one short scene. I also hope they don't fill it with action scenes because the book has very little action at all.
I'll find out soon I guess.
Dump
her
Neon Bible
Is better than Funeral.
I really like this record
and will be saying so in my own review.
I do like yours though as it's well written and clearly just your honest opinion.
You're a cock,
you're a cock, you're a cock.
Great album indeed
9/10 for me. One of 2009's very best for sure.
This is all very silly
Jared posting his violent plans was particularly silly...for many obvious reasons.

...oh and to listen to the album too.
