False?
Despite casually liking this album does no one think it tries to be too clever and profound and really ends up sounding quite silly and forced? For instance "the saddest thing i ever seen was smokers outside the hospital doors" or whatever
So is the gig line-up:
you (Paul Marshall), Beerjacket, and Jeniferever? 'cause I am intensely excited by this. But could not give a fuck about a female singer/songwriter unfortunately named Jennifer Ever.
that's out of curiosity
that i ask, btw. that book makes for interesting debate about Anglicisation .
I'm baffled
This whole article is a giant piss-take so I don't know what's real and what's not :(
i'm too gutted to speak
i thought they were playing Glasgow :(
But no , that appears to be some girl/woman called Jenifer Ever
fucked off is what i am.
1:15
through that Lungs of Punk song, then had to turn it off. reminded me too much of the chili's.
bought this...
today, off the back of this review. I like when reviews make me buy things that I've never even heard of, never mind heard.
what's more...
I like this cd. 'tis quite charming. A hint of Voxtrot-esque poppiness thrown in too.
Plan B
ditto.
Thom Yorke is...
A technically great singer, I would say.
Lover you should've come over...
Obviously. By Jeff Buckley.
"My kingdom for a kiss upon her shoulder
It's never over,
all my riches for her smiles when I slept so soft against her...
It's never over,
All my blood for the sweetness of her laughter...
It's never over,
She's a tear that hangs inside my soul forever..."
Or Morning Theft.
excited
I loved the Barfly gig in Glasgow. ABC is a nice venue, but i hope they have seats in it this time. would've been better if it was in ABC2

...
Just ordered this last night after reading the article. Duke Special made me do it. Him and his Irisih charm and his crazy stage-show.
Excellent
...I love Jamie T and this was a nice read. Read like a chat between mates... interesting :)
...
So i love this band... they got more a lot more into the IDM thing in general [before them Sabrepulse were the only other IDM 'band' i really liked]... so definitely good news. thanks for reporting this. can't wait to go to uni at glasgow and see the hole 'idm' thingy-thing-thing. Nintendo and Mario and lovely nostalgia.
hendrix....
all the guitar work in this song reminds me of Jimi Hendrix. the song's ok. it's not really anything to hate, it's just bland enough to pass you by.
p.s.
...forgot to say, I'd also be up for the live review section: currently living in Londonderry [close to Belfast... so go to the good Belfast gigs when I get a chance], and next year will be living at Glasgow [hopefully] for uni.
E-content
I would be really interested in the E-content blog contributors section, as I already have my own [relatively new] MP3 blog... so... do I email asking for the position... or....
?
P.S
Feel good lost...
would be the other album.
fantastic
Lisa Lobsinger is the girl... at least that's who's been singing on most of their tour dates recently. She's amazing... very quiet. Swaggering. Saw them live in Belfast... they were absolutely incredible. the music actually makes alot more sense live.
Official Reason
... listening to the radio last night, the official reason was given that they...
"decided to postpone it for a while so that more major bands can get in on the act"
Classic?
There's a good remix of this... think it has both the original and Jose's vocals on it. one after the other. it is simply amazing. I got it off an MP3 blog... search around for it. it's well worth it.
typical..
This is nothing more than a case of laying Flowers on his Grave
I think not...
...definitely seen other bile-filled reviews and news stories... for reviews check out Athlete singles, and Joseph Arthur...
for news.. I can't quite remember.
...I find great amusement in these little rants from time-to-time.
You click on, you're clicked off: MPH ads banned from TV
You don't see Jesus walking around Dublin sayin' he's Bono...
and...
Why'd Bono fall off the stage?
He was standing too close to The Edge
Anyways, nah, I support those ads and that campaign... it's a tad ridiculous to be banning it. I understand why, before you say anything, but sometimes the letter of the law may be ignored in the name of everything good.
